Big Brother welcomes 14 new housemates

AFTER the very successful first season of "Pinoy Big Brother" that gave us heartthrob Sam Milby; the "PBB Celebrity Edition" that brought new life to Keanna Reeves' showbiz career; and the "PBB Teen Edition" where this season's hottest love team, Kim Chiu and Gerald Anderson, was discovered, the phenomenal reality TV show comes back with new housemates and newer challenges: "Pinoy Big Brother Season 2". ABS-CBN's "teleserye ng totoong buhay" returns on February 25 at 9:30 p.m.

Big Brother is back!

“BUKAS na ang bahay ko [My house is now open],” boomed a deep, familiar voice. It was that of the famous but invisible “Kuya” of ABS-CBN 2’s Pinoy Big Brother reality program, declaring the official kick-off of the show’s second season.

The mysterious voice has long been suspected to be that of Laurenti Dyogi’s, Big Brother’s director and a top-ranking executive at the network. Still, the tall and tan director continues to deny that he is the master of the now legendary house that is a stone’s throw away from the ABS-CBN compound.

Housemate Dionne admits falling for Zeke

A "Pinoy Big Brother" housemate has admitted having feelings for "Ezekiel" (or Zeke) after the latter received bad news and sun-baked by way of Big Brother's "Red Phone."

"Dionne" said during her session at the confession room that she is falling for the housemate from Australia.

"Opo, Kuya. Pero hindi naman po ganoong kaseryoso eh. Natutuwa lang po ako sa kanya," Dionne said when asked by Big Brother about her feelings for Zeke.

Big Brother reminded Dionne to be careful about her feelings and learn to use more of her head since she has a boyfriend outside the PBB house. He added that having a relationship with Zeke at this point is deemed improper.

Dabawenya joins Pinoy Big Brother

ANOTHER Dabawenya, (rightfully since has stayed here for the past three years), is putting the city to the map as she enters the "House of Kuya," otherwise known as Pinoy Big Brother (PBB) Season 2.

Ma. Jasmine Matza Engracio, a fourth year nursing student at the Mindanao Medical Foundation College, was the 10th housemate chosen to join PBB.

Big Brother marks Day 25 with 'Big Red Dot'
Day 25 inside the "Pinoy Big Brother" house was spent by the 14 remaining housemates playing a game that Big Brother deemed as a team bonding activity.

Big Brother had the housemates play "Big Red Dot."

The housemates were instructed to step on the red dot with their Velcro slippers. Two more housemates were added at intervals inside the dot, making it hard for the group to walk around the house together.

Jasmin gets 1st PBB boot


"Jasmin" became the evictee number 1 of "Pinoy Big Brother" Season 2 during the reality-based show's "First Eviction Night" Sunday.

The "diskarte queen" from Davao got the lowest vote percentage (10.82 percent) among the four nominees, which included "Beatriz," "Kian" and "Gee-Ann."

"Sassy girl" Bea of Bicol received 20.52 percent of the total votes while Kian, the "prodigal son" from Makati City got 25.19 percent. "Cheerleading chick" Gee-Ann of Quezon City garnered the highest number of votes with 43.37 percent.

Jasmin has been known inside PBB’s house as the bossy type who is unafraid of speaking what's in her mind.

'Sunblock incident' in PBB house under MTRCB microscope

A provocative incident between two "Pinoy Big Brother" housemates has drawn not just the attention of Big Brother and the other residents but also the Movie, Television Review and Classifications Board (MTRCB).

PBB Season 2 host Toni Gonzaga apologized Tuesday night in behalf of Big Brother for offending the viewers and the MTRCB’s sensibilities when the episode with Cebu's lovable sweetheart, Dionne Monsanto, and Australian hottie Ezekiel "Zeke" Dimaguila, was shown last week.

Gonzaga did not mention if the MTRCB issued a statement against the incident.

The incident in question involved Dionne slipping her hand inside Zeke's boxer shorts while rubbing sunblock lotion on him. This took place after Zeke was literally "baked" under the sun for getting a bad call from Big Brother's "Big Red Telephone."

Aussie hottie is PBB's 'Maria Clara'

Australian hottie Ezekiel Dimaguila had a dose of his own medicine when Big Brother ordered him to dress and act like a girl in the "Pinoy Big Brother" house.

The task came after Big Brother noticed the ill-treatment Ezekiel was giving to female housemates and how little he knows about the Filipino culture.
