WE never had Gareth Gates down as the next Bruce Willis, but the Pop Idol loser has a lot to say for himself these days and wants to hit the big screen.
The 22-year-old, whose single Changes is out today, has almost lost his stammer thanks to therapy and is looking to Die Hard and Pulp Fiction actor Bruce Willis, and Rowan Atkinson, for inspiration.
He told us: "It was only recently I learned Bruce and Rowan used to have stammers, too. I'm amazed at what they've achieved and acting in movies is something I have always wanted to do.
"I feel like a new man now - I can't stop talking."
