Some more Aquilegia

And some mixed contrasting creeper

The first image gives a wide contrast of colours.
We have so many different colour combinations with the Aquilegias that there must be getting on towards a dozen variations.

Excellent pics larry ()^ Such lovely colours.

I sometimes wish that I had a good camera and loads of time, because there is quite a lot of wildlife in our garden.

There are currently 2 gorgeous baby robins, which are always perched on the washing line and they sometimes sit there with worms in their mouths. They will let me get quite close to them as well. I could have had some lovely pictures.

If you have a digital camera with optical zoom then I guess anything over x5 becomes is useful. x12 is like having a long focal length lens which is really good for wildlife.

My video cameras are x12 / x10 for the analogue ones and x12 for the digital. Though level one digital zoom is good on the miniDV and the MS4 ,but normally you find that digital zoom in the majority of cameras pixelate before they provide the magnification you require.

Luckily for my digital stills camera I have a 300mm lens with Macro so I can focus close in and can be as close as 1.6ft so you vary the zoom to get the detail required.

For post-processing then either Paintshop Pro or Photoshop. The one you use depends on the one you first learn to use as both do first class jobs but if your use to the user interface on one then you'll find the other a pain to try and use. The other thing is the Paintshop Pro is a lot cheaper without loosing the features.
