FEARNE Cotton confirmed she will take over from Ben Shephard as host of The Xtra Factor — just as TV Biz predicted. Bubbly Fearne, 24, said she was “delighted” about landing the job on the ITV2 X Factor spin-off. GMTV star Ben, 33, quit to host BBC1’s hunt for a new Hot Gossip dance troupe in reality show Dance X.
