Lindsay and Cal's first fall-out

LINDSAY Lohan’s whirlwind romance with Calum Best was in shreds last night after he was caught in bed with a mystery woman.

The sunkissed screen siren “flipped” so badly during a screaming-match with the studmuffin at a New York hotel that worried guests called staff to step in.

And serial ladies’ man, Calum, 26, was left with his clothes torn when the fiery actress went berserk after he pestered a string of models for their phone numbers.

Party-lover Calum and an unnamed lusty lass were found between the sheets after ordering in some extra booze for the mini-bar of their deluxe suite.

A source at the swanky SoHo Grand Hotel in the Big Apple said: “Calum had his shirt off and the girl was on the bed when the urgent delivery of little booze bottles arrived at 4am.”

Lindsay, 20, only got out of rehab in February – and pals say she’s still emotionally fragile.

The bedroom incident on Monday follows a claim by sexy model Sara Kova that male model Calum had kissed and caressed her in a nightclub during their recent trip to the Bahamas when actress Lindsay nipped to the loo.

Our source in the Big Apple added: “The fight was so bad it started in Lindsay’s penthouse suite and continued into the lobby.

“Lindsay really flipped. She was shouting and screaming about how Calum had cheated on her and she didn’t want to calm down.

“His clothes were torn and other guests felt the need to complain to hotel staff about Lindsay. But a manager calmed her down and escorted her to her penthouse suite.”

Calum – son of late football legend George – was “collecting numbers from all the models” every time Lohan’s back was turned the day before their spectacular blow-up at Manhattan’s swanky downtown Cipriani restaurant, say US reports.

He followed her to New York club Stereo for a concert where she blanked him to spend time with her pals.

The pair – who were friends as teenagers before getting together two weeks ago – have been pictured enjoying a sunshine getaway in the the Bahamas, where fellow holidaymakers reported they seemed “very much in love” as they kissed in the surf.

A spokesman was not available for comment for either Calum or Lindsay. dailystar

Amy says Yes, Yes, Yes

JAZZ star Amy Winehouse shocked pals yesterday by getting hitched – a day early.

The singer tied the knot with fiancé Blake Fielder-Civil, 24, in a hush-hush US ceremony.

Chart-topper Amy wanted to surprise guests who were expecting a weekend bash after rumours she was due to get spliced in Florida today.

So she decided to bring it forward and spring the ceremony on them yesterday.

The Back To Black singer, 23, currently taking America by storm, even flew out six of her best mates to help her celebrate the big day.

One source said: “Everyone was sure Amy was going to tie the knot today but she’s never been one to do what’s expected.

“She was keen to make sure no one knew anything about it, so they could keep it quiet.

“But now the word is out that they are apparently husband and wife.”

Earlier in the week Amy, who has her lover’s name tattooed on her boob, sparked rumours she was preparing for marriage after swapping booze for a cup of tea.

And Blake sent the rumour mill into overdrive when he was spotted at a tailors having his suit fitted. dailystar

LILY ALLEN EXCLUSIVE
I DON'T WANT TO LIVE ON A DIET.. AND I'VE NOT GOT THE TIME TO GO TO THE GYM EACH DAY
By Ryan Parry In Los Angeles

SHE'S renowned for being feisty and happy-golucky but the pressure of stardom has taken its toll on Lily Allen recently.

The young singer's confidence was first hit when she was unfairly compared to super-slim supermodel Kate Moss as they both launched clothing collections.

Then she was embroiled in a bitter war of words with Girls Aloud star Cheryl Cole, who'd called her a "chick with a d**k" on Gordon Ramsay's The F-Word TV show.

Lily, who has enjoyed huge success over the past year, tearfully revealed her insecurities to the world in her online blog, branding herself fat and ugly, intimating she's jealous of pop rival Amy Winehouse and even saying that she's considering cosmetic surgery.

But after countless messages of support, Lily, who weighs around 10 stone and is a size 12, has vowed not to cave in to the size-zero culture or back down in her feud with Cheryl - called Tweedy before she married England defender Ashley Cole.

"I'm over it, you know," she says. "I had 2,000 people email to tell me I had nothing to worry about and that I should be perfectly happy with the way I am.

"I care more about those people than what Cheryl Tweedy has to say.

"I think everybody is self-conscious, not just me. When you turn on the television there are workout videos, Weight Watchers ads, Slim-Fast drinks... it affects you eventually."

Lily, 22, says that supportive phone calls from friends, family and her DJ lover Seb Chew also helped her through it.

And she assured her fans that she will definitely not be resorting to plastic surgery.

"It was just a stupid thing that crossed my mind at that minute," she explains. "It's not how I feel now.

"There's nothing wrong with the way I look. I'm not overweight. I'm just not really, really thin.

"I don't feel that I over-eat, I'm just not someone who wants to live on a diet.

"And I haven't got time to go to the gym for 90 minutes every day.

"You see Girls Aloud in their skimpy outfits - that's the only image of women we ever see - so you start to assume that that's the correct way of looking and actually it isn't.

"There are a lot of young girls up and down the country still sticking their fingers down their throats and not eating anything.

"I've never had any eating disorders but I've had lots of friends who have and I think it's really sad.

"I'd rather encourage people who are reading all this stuff in the newspapers and magazines that they shouldn't feel bad about themselves. Everyone looks fine.

"What people like Cheryl Tweedy say isn't important."

In an unfortunate coincidence, Lily launched her Lily Loves range of clothing for New Look in London at the same time as Kate Moss unveiled her own fashion line at Topshop.

"As far as I was concerned," says Lily, "I was trying to do something positive, you know, promote women of a larger size and make people feel better about their physical appearance. But there were all these photos of me next to Kate and it made me feel a bit sh*t about myself.

"I felt grotesque. Everyone knows that Kate is one of the most beautiful women in the world and everyone was comparing me directly with her, and I was like 'wait a second, how did this happen?'

"It didn't make me feel good about myself.

"And then the 'chick with a d**k' comment came and I thought f***ing hell, this is too much. We all have our bad days and that's just the effect it had on me."

Lily, who has been touring the US to promote her Alright, Still album, was in tears and alone in her Seattle hotel room when she rattled out her blog - a decision she doesn't regret. In retrospect, maybe I shouldn't have done it but I'm actually quite glad I did," she explains. "It's good to be honest and say what's on your mind.

"I think the whole thing highlighted the issues and pressures of being a young woman in today's society.

"That's a positive thing for people to take away, not a negative thing.

"I understand the pressure of when everyone is looking at you and sometimes you say things that you don't actually mean. But Cheryl Tweedy hasn't apologised for those comments so she must have meant them..."

Lily, whose next stop on her tour is Charleston, South Carolina, spoke at the plush Chateau Marmont hotel in Hollywood, which has been her base in the US.

Her record company is splashing out £1,000 a night on a spacious bungalow in the hotel grounds.

"This place is great," she says. "When I'm on the road touring I normally sleep on the bus, which is hardly glamorous. I don't have a makeup artist - I can't afford to have hair and makeup for every show.

"I don't want to be a millionaire, I just want to be able to buy a house. I don't buy masses of clothes and I drive a Mini Cooper. So I'm not particularly flash."

Dressed in blue jeans, white trainers and a long white top, the down-to-earth star certainly looks very relaxed.

But the Smile singer is clearly still reeling from her catfight with Cheryl.

"I'm not going to take those kind of comments from someone like her," she says. "I'm just an artist trying to write and sing songs, and get on with my life, and she's attacking me for the way I look! Thank you very much for that.

"I wrote those things because I was really angry with what she'd said about me and I thought, 'Who the hell do you think you are?'

"All she does is sing songs that aren't hers and do some sexy dance moves, and marry someone rich."

On her MySpace page, Lily slammed Cheryl as a "stupid bitch", said she can't sing in tune and has to take her clothes off for a living.

Then 24 hours later, Cheryl retaliated, telling Lily to keep her "big mouth" shut and suggesting the chart-topper will never get to play a big arena tour like Girls Aloud.

Lily hits back: "People forget that this time last year I hadn't even released a song. I don't know many people that are doing arena tours on their first album.

"I played twice at Wembley Arena last year and I'm playing Wembley Stadium in a couple of months."

"I'm over here in America where I've sold more than 500,000 albums. I wonder when Girls Aloud last came over here to promote an album?"

Grinning, she can't resist adding: "I don't think anyone has even heard of them over here."

Cheryl claimed that Lily had also criticised Girls Aloud members Nicola Roberts and Sarah Harding, as well as her husband, Chelsea star Ashley. But Lily disagrees.

"I never called Sarah Harding vile and I never said anything about Cheryl's husband.

"I did call Nicola ugly but that was at the beginning of my career. I couldn't remember her name so I said 'the ugly one in Girls Aloud'. I don't think she's ugly at all.

"On the whole, I am really supportive of other female artists. I just think that people should get on with each other."

Whatever happens, the whole experience will serve to toughen up the Londonborn singer. "Everyone has down days but I have a strong head on my shoulders and there are so many positive things about my life. So I'm not going to complain."

Lily will fly back to Britain today but will be back in the US next week to find an apartment in New York.

"I plan to live in Manhattan for a few months and work on material for my second album."

So after their very public spat, where do Lily and Cheryl stand now? "I've never met her. I don't know her," she says.

"If she comes out and slags me off again I'm not going to retaliate. I haven't got time..."

People shouldn't attack me for the way I look

Kate's just so beautiful.. but who the hell does Cheryl think she is?

MACCA'S MY FATHER
..AND HE'S FAKED A PATERNITY TEST TO AVOID THE TRUTH BETTINA'S NEW PROBE CALL

By Fiona Cummins Showbiz Reporter

SIR PAUL McCartney is being investigated over claims he faked a paternity test to deny he had a German daughter.

Prosecutors there are now looking into fresh claims that he is the father of 44-year-old Bettina Hubers.

She says he had an affair with her waitress mother Erika while the Beatles played in Hamburg.

A court there ruled in 1983 that he was not her dad after he took two separate paternity tests.

But Bettina now claims that Sir Paul, 64, sent a double to give the blood and tissue samples.

She said: "The signature on the documents he signed at the time were false. The signature is from a right-handed person and he is not. I want a new paternity test. It's my right. It's taken so long because we have been fighting to find out the truth."

But a close friend of Sir Paul, who has three grown-up children Mary, Stella and James plus Beatrice, three, with Heather Mills, says Bettina's claims are "utter nonsense". A close friend said: "She's a nutter. This is completely ridiculous. This was all settled years ago. He is not her dad."

Bettina's mum Erika, 64, alleges she had a three-year relationship with Sir Paul after they met at a Beatles gig.

He denied paternity but paid Erika £10,000 in 1966 when Bettina was four. He said later: "I was told that if the maintenance question wasn't settled we couldn't go to Germany. They put the paper under my face and said if I didn't sign, the whole tour was off.

"They said the agreement would deny I was the father and it was a small amount anyway."

Tests in 1983 indicated he was not the father but a court in Berlin ruled he should pay maintenance.

The Hubers lost on appeal and were ordered to pay Sir Paul's £60,000 legal costs. But he paid them himself.

Now Bettina claims she has the new signature evidence.

The public prosecutor's office in Berlin said: "Yes, there is a complaint of fraud against him that we are investigating."

Sir Paul has been accused of fathering two other love children in France and Liverpool. He denies it.

Kate sees Pete's footballing skills

Troubled rock star Pete Doherty showed off his footballing skills as part of the Celebrity Soccer Six tournament - and was cheered on by his number one fan, Kate Moss.
Supermodel Moss turned up to watch the Babyshambles frontman lead his band against teams of TV and music personalities at the event at West Ham's Upton Park ground in London.

Among the celebrities taking to the field were Razorlight, boy band Eton Road, Donny Tourette and his band Towers of London, Brian McFadden, Angus Deayton, and stars of Hollyoaks, Shipwrecked and Big Brother.

And in the women's teams, the stars of Wags Boutique, Bad Girls, Beauty and the Geek and
Shipwrecked were joined by Bianca Gascoigne, Caprice, Big Brother's Imogen Thomas and Michelle Heaton and Kelli from Liberty X.

The celebrities turned out for the 20th Soccer Six tournament to raise money and awareness for the Samaritans.

Begun in 1995, Soccer Six has attracted stars including Jude Law, Robbie Williams, Mark Owen, Cat Deeley, Ant and Dec, Westlife, Rod Stewart, and a team from Radio 1 over the years.

On one famous occasion spectators witnessed a showdown between rival bands Oasis and Blur - who were also battling it out in the charts at the time.

Since Soccer Six first kicked off at Mile End stadium 12 years ago, competitions have been played at major football grounds around the country, including Anfield, St James Park, Stamford Bridge, Goodison Park, Villa Park and the Madjeski stadium. rugbyreviewtoday

Trisha Victim Of Racist Cabby

Black ITV talk show host Trisha Goddard has told how she was the victim of "nasty and overtly racist manhandling" by a taxi driver.

Goddard, 49, of Norwich, said the incident - in Colchester, Essex earlier this month - left her "shocked and upset".

"I had an experience which shook me to the sore," she explained in a local newspaper column.

"I was on the receiving end of what I can only describe as nasty and overtly racist manhandling because a taxi driver didn't 'want my sort' in his cab."

Writing in the Eastern Daily Press weekend magazine, Goddard said she was awaiting action from "relevant authorities".

"I was left shocked and upset," she added. "I'm convinced I'm not the first person of colour to suffer at that cabby's hands but if I have my way I'm certainly going to be the last." waveguide

MADLY IN LOVE

EXCLUSIVE: Street stars to buy home

CORRIE co-stars Jenny Platt and Rupert Hill have fallen in love and plan to set up home together once they quit the Street.

The pair have become inseparable since splitting from their partners more than a year ago.

Now the couple, who play one-time screen lovers Violet Wilson and Jamie Baldwin, are excitedly talking about buying a house in London as they prepare for life after the Street.

The pair, who had always denied an affair, showed their true feelings last week at a leaving party, caressing and kissing in a busy Spanish bar restaurant.

They held hands and looked lovingly into each others' eyes throughout the night.

The lovers then went back to Jenny's canalside apartment in Manchester where they spend all their nights together.

A Street source said: "In the past they denied they were having any kind of relationship.

"They were really good friends. But they now admit that it has changed and they are very much a couple in love. Recently they've been showing their feelings more and more in public, especially after they've had a drink or two."

Jenny, 27, shocked friends after splitting from her husband Oliver Ford after nine months.

A few months later Jenny was linked to Rupert, also 27, who had just split from long-term girlfriend Angela Hazeldine, 25.

They were regularly seen arm in arm in clubs and walking back to her place but said they were "just good friends".

Then in February it was revealed she was planning to quit as Rovers barmaid Violet after three years. Two months later Rupert said he wanted to leave.

Another Street source said: "What started off as a strong friendship has gradually transformed into a solid relationship.

"They are mad about one another and over the last two months realised they had fallen in love.

"They're a lovely couple, popular, and have loads of friends in the cast and crew."

BETH BARGES INTO LILY ROW
21/05/2007

BETH Ditto has waded into the Lily Allen/ Cheryl Cole feud - adding her own jibes about the Girls Aloud beauty.

Last week we told how Lily and our Chez, 23, were heading for a punch-up after the Smile singer slagged off the Geordie babe's accent and called her a "disgusting human being".

It was the latest salvo in a war that grew nasty when Cheryl - responding to 22-year-old Lily's constant digs - branded her a "chick with a d***".

Speaking at the Radio 1 Weekend in Preston, The Gossip singer Beth said: "F*** Girls Aloud. I'd rather be a fat chick with a d***, than an a**hole.

"It's hard to feel good when magazines say you're ugly, so I know how Lily feels."

Looks this one's going to run and run.. Mirror
