Orlaith back in Belfast as love split confirmed

Big Brother babe Orlaith McAllister was back in Belfast with her family today after splitting with her fiance Gary McCausland, the couple's agent confirmed today.

According to reports in a Sunday newspaper, the pair have parted company - less than a month after showing off their new baby daughter Eva in an exclusive spread in OK magazine.

Yesterday's report claimed Orlaith had headed home to her family in north Belfast, with her daughter.

The couple had been sharing a home in the upmarket Richmond area of London.

Speaking to the Belfast Telegraph, their agent Richard Hillgrove said; " I can confirm that Orlaith and Gary have split up.

"At this stage I can't say anything else, but they may wish to issue a joint statement at a later date.

"It's obviously very sad for everyone involved."

The Belfast model met Tyrone property developer Gary McCausland during Belfast Fashion week two years ago.

They moved in together in London and then during a romantic holiday in Barbados just before Christmas, the pair got engaged.

In the recent OK interview, the couple posed for photographs with baby Eva in their plush home.

Orlaith spoke about her love for Gary and praised him for helping her through the birth of their baby daughter.

They also revealed that they were planning to get married in Dublin next year.

BIG Brother beauty Orlaith McAllister was in hiding last night after her TV star fiance was arrested for allegedly threatening to kill her.

Stunning Orlaith, 27, was said to be "terrified" after it was claimed Gary McCausland threatened her with violence. McCausland, 28, host of Channel Five's Who Wants To Be A Property Developer, was held in custody at Richmond police station in south-west London.

Officers had gone to the couple's home in Kew, south London, on Friday night.

McCausland was arrested and quizzed. He was finally released on bail after 10 hours.

Cops are now investigating and he will return to the police station next month.

McCausland allegedly flew into a fury after seeing I topless photos' of Orlaith the media and was accused of making the threats over the phone. A close friend said last night: "Orlaith is devastated by this. She was terrified. She wants to carry on a normal life."

Last month we revealed McCausland kicked Orlaith out during a row. She fled the country with their baby daughter.

The millionaire fiance of Big Brother babe Orlaith McAllister will have to sweat it out over the next three weeks before learning if he is to face charges over alleged threats to kill her.

Dungannon-born Gary McCausland - host of Channel Five's How To Be A Property Developer - spent more than eight hours banged up in a police cell after the latest bust-up with the former reality TV star.

And last night the couple's agent confirmed it was the end of the road for their rocky romance.

Orlaith (27) has returned to Belfast with their four-month-old baby, Eva, after the latest blistering row nine days ago led police to the celebrity couple's five-bedroom home in Kew, south London.

The pair were attempting a SECOND reconciliation, but it's understood Gary was far from pleased and raged down the phone when he saw topless photographs of new mum Orlaith in a lads' mag.

A spokeswoman for the Metropolitan Police in London told Sunday Life that McCausland - an entrepreneur who made his money developing luxury properties - was arrested on May 18 "in connection with an allegation of threats to kill".

Added the spokeswoman: "He was taken to Richmond police station and later released on bail to return to a south London police station on June 15 pending further inquiries."

The spokeswoman said that, on that date, Mr McCausland would either be re-bailed, charged or informed that no further action would be taken in relation to the allegations.

The troubled couple split for the first time in April, less than a month after showing off their new baby in OK! magazine.

In the celebrity mag, both revealed they hoped to marry in Dublin later this year.
