I checked with that well known source H2G2...
People ask exactly what is ale? Why do people go on about it so much? Why is it only drunk by men with huge beer guts, silly beards and daft pipes?

Ale is simply this, the basic form of beer. Nothing more, nothing less. It's just another style of beer, as lager or stout are styles of drink.

MANY years ago I was involved with a Rabble/group of 'Real Ale' drinkers who went on to set-up 'Camra'

At that time I couldn't get 'Tiger' over here !!!

On a pregnancy forum I go on, this girl is from scotland and she said that they don't have 20 week scans like you do here. You have the 12 scan and that's it! That would have driven me mad if I didn't have my 20 weeks scan, I couldn't wait to find out the sex of my baby.

We have been trying to get it going again for months but all we have is a bunch of reformed 'Cyber Drunks' who take over the serious threads ::lol:: ::lol::
