I always thought that the decorations had to be down by the twelfth night, not necessarily on it. I thought it was supposed to be unlucky if you kept them up after that date, but it didn't matter if you took them down before. What does anyone else think?

We always go on holiday to Center Parcs on the first week back at school (It isnt timed for thjen, but the second week of the new year, so they usually just coincide :D) so we take ours down on the Sunday evening, then leave on the Monday morning!

Well I took mine down last night....It doesn't feel like xmas once new year's is done. The house looks bigger, brighter and cleaner aswell which is nice :D

Going to take mine down in a mo......

It is supposed to be unlucky to leave decorations up after 12th but but I think tranditionally 12th night is when the are supposed to come down .....but as I said (same as HD) after new year'd day they are just depressing.
