I took advantage of being able to take films out for 3 days at Blockbuster...
Minority Report:  zzzzzz
Panic Room:Not bad but so many times I was shouting at the screen things like ''why don't you do.....you should have....now that was stupid''
About A Boy: very good ()^ Might even buy it.

Got two of my favourite films for pressies...Some Like It Hot and Sense And Sensibility :D gonna watch the latter tonight with a big box of tissues :-(

I got Minority Report out over weekend and Resident Evil.

Minority Report.....hhhmmm....bit like HD, all good yeah, but didnt get into it that much and dozed off at one point.

Resident Evil.... .....is it just me or is it sooooooooooo long and dragged out? kept having to rewind cuz I kept getting distracted. I mean it says something about a film if you suddenly decide to clean the cooker half way through

I looked at Resident Evil in the shop and thought oh goody a new horror film, but thought I'd wait for someone else to see it first and let me know if it's any good or not......Thank you JB...I won't bother with it now :D ()^

I always get out the horrors, but I realy didnt rate this at all, it might just have been me not concentrating but really thought it could have been a lot better.

Seen any good horrors lately then?
My cousin went to see 28 Days Later and said it's still giving him nightmares. Can't remember that last decent horror I saw, apart from From Hell, I love all that Jack the Ripper stuff.

Ignores Scotslass...

Um not seen many decent horrors for ages, havent seen 28 days later yet.

I prefer phycological horrors rather than lots of blood and guts flying about, it really doesnt do it for me.

Ummm good ones....did you see Jeepers Creepers, not fantastic overall, but some great moments at the beggining.

Nothing out now that good I dont think, 13 Ghosts and Long Time Dead were both very poor.

Ahhhh the entity was funny

Got into Horror films early teens, first one I watched was The Excorsist, and got hooked after that, love stuff on the paranormal or supernatural.

No I haven't seen Jeepers Creepers...I'll wait for it to come on Sky.
Oh and I saw 13 Ghosts (the original black and white one) oh my god...it was hilarious! At the time of it's release it must have been very high tech cos there was a man at the beginning telling you to put on your special x ray glasses when the screen changed colour to see the ghosts....they were the white sheet type too ::lol::
My daughter bought this dvd called 'The Hole'.....it was dubbed ''the bristish answer to the Blair Witch Project, but it was nothing like really.....it was surprisingly good though with a clever story.

Yep I have got the hole. Wasnt really scary though, clever, even though I hate to say the british actors sound so wooden and fake compared to the american girl (from american beauty) who IS actually putting the accent on.

Trying to think of other decent ones worth watching....

The Ninth Gate has the potential to be a fantastic film, (Jonny Depp) but the ending just seems rushed and not in keeping with the rest of the film, but worth a watch.
Lost Souls, (winona Ryder) also not fantastic but a decent watch as well.
Stigmata, worth a watch for the message behind the whole film and the fact that the message is bases on a true dead sea scroll that is classified and has been cast out by the vatican.
