BIG Brother fever is set to grip the nation next week as it returns to our screens for the eighth time.
But South Tyneside has secured its own set of housemates, who will make guest appearances at a town centre nightclub.
Bosses at Dusk, in South Shields, have signed a golden hand-cuffs deal with eight former contestants for a number of guest appearances, beating stiff competition from other north east venues.
The line-up includes housemates from the past two series, including Geordie Anthony Hutton, who won the reality TV show two years ago.
Hutton, from County Durham, will replace last year's winner Pete Bennett, who had to pull out at the last minute due to TV commitments.
The first ex-star of the Channel 4 show to appear is last year's runner-up, Welsh teenager Glyn Wise.
The 19-year-old will meet fans and pose for photos this Thursday at the Mile End Road venue, from 11pm. He will be followed by Anthony Hutton, who kicks off series eight's launch night on Friday, June 1.
Hutton's ex-housemate and bikini-clad glamour model Sam Heuston will set pulses racing on June 15.
Meanwhile, Scouse model Mikey Dalton, 24, is set to take to the decks with his own DJ set on June 22.

June 29.
Busty Saskia Howard-Clarke has also had a brief career in modelling since being voted out of the house in 2005.
She will appear on July 6, followed by her ex-on screen boyfriend and cheeky Cockney chappy Maxwell Ward on July 20.
The tabloids were full of headlines about the final guest, 22-year-old Kinga Karolczak, for her after-dark drunken antics during series six.
The outspoken former promotions girl will appear on July 27.
Lee Campbell, owner of Dusk, said: "Unfortunately Pete had to cancel as he had lined up a TV appearance ahead of the Big Brother launch.
"But we managed to get Anthony to come along, and I'm sure he'll be a big hit with the ladies.
"This is a huge coup for us and any Big Brother fan."
