Yeah I've heard that about her work, that her plots are follow the same simlar path. Which is a shame as I think she could do other themes well.

I have just finished ''Perfect Match'' and it was my favourite of all her books. Lots of twists in the story line and yes, it does follow a similar theme to her other books but still an enjoyable read.

We have that upstairs actually HC, I will maybe read it next.

Meant to say I eventually finished The Pact a couple of weeks ago after losing it about 35 times! I liked it towards the end but the start really seemed to drag on, it was a bit repetitive. Pretty much expected it to end the way it did as well.

I read Plain Truth recently (I was too scared to tell ellie she would skin me alive {@} ) anyway it was ok. I still think perfect match was her best. As long as you accept that she is a one trick pony (apart from her first book which is quite different) then she' a decent enough read for something not too deep and challenging.

off to run away before ellie finds out :D

I liked My Sister's Keeper, but because of that I ended up reading The Tenth Circle.

It's utter rubbish and, if I didn't have respect for books, I would be doing this on it right now: :puke:

At last someone who agrees with me. I did the same thing alice. I read My Sister's Keeper, thought it was a good read and bought another one, can't remember which now. They are complete crap, sickly sweet, full of platitudes and stereotypes and basically the same book rehashed lots of times.

Some of them seem to be okay, you can usually tell by reading an extract. However, I stay clear of any of her books that have "By the Author of The Tenth Circle" on the cover, as I know that probably means it will be the same sort of thing.
