That's a lovey banner BTW John. Very stylish.

But alas, I cannot spare 25p in support of Fartpants. It will soon be Halloween and I need all my coins to throw at any Guysers 'n' Ghosts foolish enough to approach Castle Bagpuss.

Thanks, I have a thing for Fonts so I'm told.... just don't tell the Vicar

Tell you what... you spend the 25p and I'll send you round some cans of boiling oil and dog do in paper bags for the wee kiddies?

I would John, if 100% of the profits were going to charity.

But the thought of any money going into the pockets of Endemol pulls me up short of the gesture.

(I'm trying to get all the remaining smut out tonight before returning to normal life.)

I wouldn't bother... just as we return to proper gentlemen with perfectly controlled Ps and Qs; Hinge and Bracket* will be online

When this f-cking wedding though?

You'd think the bride would have come (ahem) to pick us up (ahem) by now.

Doesn't she want any bridesmaids?

I think she's eloped with Hippo.

Poor Finchy. He'll be in no mood to calculate my victory in the Eviction Prediction game tonight.

Will twins return to MMU?

THEY are favourites to win Big Brother tonight, so don't expect to see blonde twins Sam and Amanda Marchant back in the lecture halls of Manchester Metropolitan University any time soon.

The 19-year-olds are due back at MMU to continue their social work degrees this October, but that now looks highly unlikely.

For even if they fail to win tonight, the girls are still set to make hundreds of thousands of pounds in lucrative photo shoots and magazine interviews over the course of the next year.

It beats racking up thousands of pounds of student debt, I suppose.

And perhaps even a pleasant surprise in Jonty's if he finishes higher than fifth. (Unlikely.)

Not so unlikely... if everyone heeds the banner below ;)

The votes for the top two are massive... the others are probably still in single figures (they have always been quite low in the past). If you can spare a vote (and intend supporting the top three) then I urge you to use just one to vote for Jonty.

Once the first round of evictions has taken place, there's nothing preventing you from voting for the winner in the second round (they're guaranteed to make it now anyway).

To be sure, Jonty won't win but we can still pull the rug from under BB and provide a nice little final night shocker...

But only if people will spend the 25p ()^

I placed a vote for Jonty at your request John as well as a few for the twins.

I gave Jonty £5 worth of votes, but it wasn't even enough to get him above the scrubber.

What I find confusing, among a million things in this world, is how Eugene, himself a latecomer (behave Ellie) and an uber-nerd, was able to unconsciously build such support amongst the viewers to enable him to finish second.

Alright, the others in the last 6 of BB6 were idiots, but Eugene got several million votes.

So how can one socially-awkward nerd do so well one year, and yet another do so badly in another.

And both times the nerds lost to a mentally-challenged berk.

What I'm asking is how the nerd vote held-up so well in one vote, but collapsed two years later.

Behave Ellie.

I'd even say, most of the people who voted for Nadia, in sympathy, should have been more likely to vote for Eugene and then Jonty.

Or am I reading it wrong? Were people REALLY fooled by Brian's helpless innocent act?

I think it was partly to do with the fact that it was a backlash against the awfulness of Antnee as Brian was more popular than him and also Jonty's farting and age.

Well, we are all ever-ageing farters, so the voters are only deluding themselves.

OLD FARTS ONE AND ALL!!

Jonty was also perceived as being as being creepy too with his spanking etc etc, Eugene was just a harmless and likeable geek.

Jonty was harmless but I can see why people felt uneasy about him.

BOOKIES CASH IN AFTER BRIAN'S BB TRIUMPH

Brian may have emerged £100,000 richer thanks to his Big Brother victory, but the real winners of the reality TV show's conclusion could be the country's bookmakers.

Twins Sam and Amanda were red hot favourites to scoop the Channel 4 show's top prize, with one Birmingham pundit putting £50,000 on them to win.

But after £1 million was gambled on the outcome of last night's finale and £10 million over the course of the entire show, Brian emerged victorious with a 60.3 per cent share of the public vote.

"This is the best reality TV betting result ever. The satchels are full," a William Hill spokesman told the Sun.

The twins had been 1-25 to win Big Brother outright, leading to some bookies paying out early.

Irish bookmaker Boylesports told the Daily Mirror: "The twins have cost us a lot of money but they have been complete stars."

Meanwhile, they may not have won, but the twins can look forward to a short-lived career in the music industry if Big Brother insiders are to be believed.

The Sun said that record company bosses are queuing up to sign the runners-up to a short-term deal; possibly covering Aqua's 90s hit Barbie Girl.

"Record companies have been contacting us asking to pass on their numbers. They are fighting over Samanda," a source said.
