WE'RE GOING TO BE PINK STARS

SEXY Big Brother twins Sam and Amanda Marchant were in the pink last night, with an offer to become pop stars and release the Aqua smash Barbie Girl.

And they are even in talks with toymaker Mattel, who want to turn the gorgeous pair into plastic Barbie-style dolls.

The blonde babes, 19, cannot believe their luck that within days of being voted runners-up in the Channel 4 series they are well on their way to making a million.

The sensational deals have been masterminded by their showbiz agent Jonathan Shalit – the man who discovered Charlotte Church, 21 – and who also looks after Jamelia, 26, and Myleene Klass, 29.

He said: “The girls will be a smash. Everyone loves them. They’ve got a great future ahead of them.”

The twins are set to sign with record company Sony BMG, who also look after Westlife, Leona Lewis, 22, and Shayne Ward, also 22.

And their version of Barbie Girl, originally a hit for 33-year-old Lene Nystrom’s band Aqua, could make them a mint if it hits No 1.

Amanda said: “It’s amazing that we could be pop stars. Sam and I never thought in our wildest dreams that we’d leave Big Brother and release a record.

“We are dead excited that we’ll be singing Barbie Girl. It’s one of our favourite songs.”

The lasses would also love to record a version of Jingle Bell Rock, which they performed in the Big Brother house.
Amanda giggled: “We could get the Christmas No 1 with that. It would be amazing.”

The pair are talking to Mattel, who have been so impressed with “Samanda” they want to make dolls of them – just like Barbie.

An insider revealed: “It’s early days yet but they would love to make the twins into Barbie dolls and they’ve had hush-hush talks about the project.

“They want to bring out a limited-edition range of Barbie-style Samanda dolls in a special twin pack. They might even be dressed in pink

ra-ra skirts and white waistcoats like their entrance outfits.

“And, who knows, they might even make talking ones who say: ‘Pink’, ‘Cringe’ and ‘Dead good’.

“Now the big question is – if they become Barbies who will be their Ken?”

The girls are currently at Manchester Metropolitan University studying for a degree in social work.

But having completed 12 months of their three-year course they plan to take the next year off and enjoy the fruits of their BB experience. Amanda said: “Sam and I are serious about doing social work later in life.

“We want to get the degree while we are still young and then maybe do other things and come back to social work.”

The twins also claim they would love to launch their own fashion range – called Samanda.

Amanda said: “We have always been interested in fashion. We don’t think there are enough girly girl clothes out there. It’s all become too casual. So Sam and I would love to do our own range – maybe ra-ra skirts and floaty dresses.

“Just more girly stuff. We think there is a demand.”

The pair cannot believe that appearing on BB has led to such massive opportunities for them.

Amanda said: “Sam and I have been fans of the show since it began. To appear on it and get so far is amazing.

“Last year we were watching the show and loving Nikki Grahame, who was the best housemate ever.

“Now we’ve been on it, and we can’t believe the reaction we’ve had.”

Big Brother's Chanelle gets her kit off

The Big Brother babe strips off for January to December

If posing for raunchy pictures is good enough for Victoria Beckham, it's good enough for Chanelle Hayes.

Only the BB contestant doesn't have Becks to pose beside her. Instead the 19-year-old student has stripped off on her own for a saucy 2008 calender.

The Posh wannabe, who is cashing in since leaving Big Brother, is sure to please the boys with the risqué poses shot in Spain.

One photo shows her completely naked from the back.

Wonder if Ziggy, 26, has already put in his request for a signed printer's proof.

Sorry it's late Madeline - this is from yesterday's Evening Express:

Quote:
There we are then. That's it for another year. Big Brother 8 is finally over and it's Brian Belo who's away home with the winnings.

The data clerk from Essex, who celebrated his 20th birthday in the famous house was last to leave the building on Friday night.

For many it was a shock win over the twins, bubbly 19-year-olds Sam and Amanda.

Liam McGough, the Geordie tree surgeon, came third in the final - despite speculation the £100,000 cash gift he got earlier in the series would dent the 23-year-old's hopes of finishing with a decent placing.

Fourth place was taken up by the human yo-yo and former boy band member, Ziggy Lichman, 26.

He must be the person who has asked to leave the house the highest number of times in the history of the programme.

House mother and nastily nicknamed Fat Controller Carole Vincent was placed fifth and late-addition half-way housemate Jonty Stern left in sixth place.

I was more nervous on Friday night than I can remember being on any final night, with the obvious exception of BB4.

I've been trying to identify why I felt like that.

I think it was because I liked something about each of the potential winners.

I usually have my favourites of course - this series it was the twins and Liam - but the sense of tension built up because I really couldn't tell who was going to take it this year.

Last year, I picked Pete Bennett as the winner on the opening night. This year it wasn't that obvious at all.

I still can't believe that Brian beat the twin-credible Marchant sisters to top spot.

I thought they were a dead cert and I even wondered if Liam would beat Brian - his best mate in the house.

If we've learned anything this year, it's that more effort has to be made in a shorter time next year by the producers of the show.

They recognised last year that 13 weeks was too long, yet this year's programme was as long - and felt it. And introducing housemates later in the show rarely works.

The scrapping of "celeb" Big Brother in January hopefully means their creative efforts will focus on the summer series.

Well done Brian - make the most of the fun!

Big Brother’s Chanelle Hayes And Ziggy Lachman Are Buzzing

HEAR that? That’s the buzz. And Big Brother’s Chanelle’s Hayes is tuned into it.

“We didn’t get to sleep till gone 3am,” says Chanelle on the Star’s cover page. No wonder. The celebrity buzz sounds like a mosquito at close quarters. One day Chanelle will never sleep at all and will be forced to resort to prescription drugs and daytime telly to gain any respite from fame’s demands.

For now though she is relaxing in the arms of her lover Ziggy. “We both really want to give this a go,” says Ziggy.

And there is much more to say. On page 2, Chanelle says: “It was a really magical night of love …but both of use feared we would be called into the Dairy Room.”

Chanelle was worried that she was being watched. “Then I remember I went to the bathroom and closed the door behind me. I heard this click and I jumped, thinking a camera was homing in on me.”

Relief to find herself wrong and that the Star has not delved into more esoteric fetishism, it’s photographer remaining in the hotel room proper waiting for Chanelle to emerge dressed in a thong and dry hump Ziggy.

Pages 5 and 6, Ziggy is “THE PERFECT HUNK”. And like a young Antony Armstrong-Jones he cuddles his Posh bird, aka Chanelle.

Ziggy pops open the champagne and kisses his lover on the head.

And we hear the buzz as the flash gun warms up once more…

BRIAN'S SECRET NIGHT OF LUST!

LUSTY Big Brother winner Brian Belo sneaked into a top hotel for a secret rendezvous with sexy Amanda Marchant.

The smitten lad was so determined to be with the pretty blonde, he hot-footed it across London in the middle of the night to sneak into her hotel.

And the pair hugged as Brian, 20, told the twin, 19, how much he had missed her since leaving the house.

The loved-up pair spent a couple of hours knocking back champagne as they enjoyed a cosy heart-to-heart.

Brian, who won the show’s £100,000 prize on Friday, had been ordered to stay in his own hotel room after a night out clubbing with other housemates. But he missed Amanda so much, he sneaked out under cover of darkness to meet her.

The blonde – who was staying with her twin sister Sam at the Portobello Hotel in swanky Notting Hill – squealed with delight when Brian turned up at her door.

Hugging her tightly, he told her: “We are going to be together soon. It’s unfair we’ve been separated since we came out of the house, but I just had to see you.

“The most painful thing about being out of the house is not spending every minute with you. I feel like I have had an arm cut off or something. It’s dead weird.”

Amanda admitted: “Being away from you and the others is dead, dead weird. When I wake up, it’s weird not seeing everyone around me. It’s going to take a long time to get used to not sleeping in the same room as so many people.”

The pair, who enjoyed a series of hot snogs in the house, spent a couple of hours together, before their cosy reunion was gatecrashed by former housemates Amy Alexandra, 21, and Seany O’Kane, 25, who were desperate to see the twins.

Chanelle Hayes, 19, also joined them all for a drink in what was their first proper meeting since leaving the house.

Glamour girl Amy told how everyone thought it unfair that Amanda and Brian had been put in different hotels: “After all
that time together, it’s sad that they can’t enjoy more time with each other.”

Brian and Amanda’s romance kept viewers glued to their screens. After lusting after her for eight weeks, the dippy Essex lad finally plucked up the courage to tell her how much he loved her – and discovered that she had feelings for him, too.

He told her: “I love you. You’ll know how I feel when you come out, you’ll see everything. You’re the hottest girl in BB8. I just think you should know it, you’re really hot and a really nice girl.”

When she admitted that she liked him, Brian charged into the Diary Room to tell Big Brother the good news.

He said: “I’m walking on air right now. I know she’s probably embarrassed as hell, but I’ve had a really good day.”

Later, Amanda dampened his passion by telling him she wanted them to remain just good friends.

But Brian confessed last night that he was desperate to rekindle their romance, though he would not force the issue in case he lost her as a friend.

He explained: “Of course I want something to happen. She’s the nicest girl I have ever met and I love being with her.

“But her friendship is just as important and if doing something meant I lost her as a mate, I wouldn’t do it. We are just going to have to wait and see what happens.”

ZIGGY: I'M NOT A LOVE RAT

Ziggy spoke out last night against the cruel rumours that he was a sex cheat

He said: “I was hurt when I heard people had called me that. Nothing could be further from the truth.”

It was claimed that while he was dating former Hear’Say babe Suzanne Shaw, 25, he cheated on her with Oil of Olay beauty Natasha Clancy, 27, after the pair were spotted on holiday together.

But Ziggy insists that story is not true. He said: “I had been on a couple of dates with Suzanne and we were good, but we realised it wasn’t going anywhere so we ended it.

“She is a lovely girl and I have nothing but good things to say about her.

“Not long after, I was pictured on holiday with Natasha. We were friends and we’d met through modelling, and then we started dating.

“But when I was with Natasha, I had finished with Suzanne. That’s the truth. Now suddenly I am called a love rat. That label stung me.”

Ziggy has been linked to a string of other beauties, including model Sophie Anderton, 30, Atomic Kitten Natasha Hamilton, 25, Kerry Katona, 26, Abi Titmuss, 31, and even actress Scarlett Johansson, 22.

He said: “The reality is these are just friends of mine.

“As for Scarlett, I was walking my dog Molly through Soho and saw a friend having a drink with her. I dropped in and said hi. That was it!”

Big Brother: Twins' nan speaks out!

Big Brother twins Sam and Amanda may have left the house but they still have an all seeing eye watching over them – their Grandma.

The girls' nan has opened up about her fears that their instant fame might corrupt the naive duo.

Irene Marchant, 75, said: "I hope no-one takes advantage of my girls. They've never been out of the country, so even for them to travel to London by train on their own to appear on Big Brother was a big worry for me."

And she revealed that the girls' father originally banned them from appearing on the show, worried that they might be misrepresented.

"I said, 'For goodness sake, give them this chance'," she said and is happy that they did her proud.

"They were popular because they've been well-behaved. They don't swear, they're happy, they take everything in their stride - and they're like that in real life. Look at the girls who were turfed out - their language was disgusting."

It seems the twins' Nan will be making sure they keep up their squeaky clean image now they are out of the house as well.

"They may do some modelling now. But they won't do men's magazines.” Irene said. “The ones where you strip off? No way. Their dad would definitely say no!"

Ziggy's Interview

We catch up with Ziggy for an EXCLUSIVE chat...

On Sunday iBB got to catch up with the final six housemates at the BB House as they got ready to appear on BBLB.

iBB - How are you feeling today?

I feel good, I feel really good. I used a cash machine for the first time today; I was kind of like cheering and running around the cash machine dancing. Then I realised how much money I had and it wasn't so great.

But people came up to the cash machine and were saying "You alright Zig? Well done mate!, I voted for you." Apparently everyone in the petrol station voted for me. I don't believe so!

I didn't realise how big the show was - it's a big show!

iBB - Who was the first person you spoke to after you came out?

My family - I spoke to my brother and sister, they were saying, "Zig - I think you got yourself in something here!" I don't think any of us realised what Big Brother is about. I went in a bit blind, but I think I've had a good summer.

iBB - What would you have done differently?

I probably wouldn't have been as hasty to get involved in a relationship in the house. When I look back on it now I got straight involved in something and I don't think it was the great choice, I think I was a bit blind in that.

I wouldn't change that or my journey in there - but I'd probably take my time a bit more and get to know everyone a bit more.

iBB - What, if anything, have you learnt about yourself?

[Chanelle arrives and they look at each other, Twins scream! Then Liam comes in and they high five] To stop being such a worrier! I kind of worried quite a bit in there. I think they showed a lot of it. I thought maybe they'd say out of six worries they'd show half but out of four they showed four.

iBB - What are you going to do now?

Whatever! Things are good, things are cool. I don't even know what I'm going to do; I just need to get my head around everything. And I just want to enjoy myself and see people and friends.

iBB - What would be your one highlight?

[Twins scream CHANELLE!] Molly coming in, without a doubt.

iBB - Do you have any regrets?

Now I'm here sitting here, no. As I've said before, jumping into things so hasty and bit blindfolded, but that's it.

iBB - Which housemates will you staying in touch with?

Twins, Brian, Chanelle, Liam and Carole. I've going out for dinner with Carole one day this week and get a bit of food. Chanelle and myself haven't really had a chat properly yet. We've had a bit of a chat and things are OK. I'll take things really slowly, if I can! I don't think you ever do though...

iBB - You looked nervous when you left the House - what was going through your mind?

That I was worried about the response - you spend a lot of time in there. When you had the Halfway Housemates in there, although the rule is that they're not supposed to say anything they were coming in and told us a few things from the outside - which is daunting! I was told in there that I was a Dad! And they left me going for four days thinking that. I'd never seen anything like it - no-one realises that there are a lot of mind games in there.

iBB - Who were you most happy to get a surprise from in the House... Molly or Chanelle?

The honest answer... Molly. She's like my daughter, I slept with her last night and she was on my bed! And there were just two of us in the bed that night!

iBB - How's it going with Chanelle? Do you see a future together?

Things are cool. I think we're going to get a bit of time together today after this. We've had a chance to have a small chat but she's been a busy girl! Chanelle looks great at the moment, she looks gorgeous.

I think we're going to give things a go and see what happens. It's cool. There are probably enough people in this room [the housemates] who want it not to work so that's enough reason for me for me to make it work!

Now I have all the space I need, so hopefully we can get things working.

iBB - We thought you were using secret code to tell Liam you'd got jiggy with Chanelle - what were you trying to tell him?

We just had a kiss and a cuddle, and that's what Liam and I were talking about.

iBB - Do you think Northern Line will have a reunion like Take That?

Nah, someone said I was offered something and it's not really for me. I can't dance! I lost all rhythm in the House, why would I possibly put myself on the stage? I enjoyed my night when I did it then. If I ever did anything I'd do it with all the other guys for some sort of charity thing. A one-off.

iBB - Chanelle has a great voice - would you ever record a duet with her?

She's got an amazing voice, but no, that's just a bit too cheesy!

IBB - Where do you think you'll be and what do you think you'll be doing, one year from now?

One year from now I'd like to be doing something for Big Brother next year. Maybe I could be a cheesy sidekick or a runner for next year?

ALSO THIS WEEK - We'll be featuring interviews with the rest of the final seven housemates and their daily diaries.
