...put a spike in the middle of the steering wheel, instead of an airbag. You can bet people would drive a lot more carefully.

Great idea... unless you needed a car mechanic, dentist or plumber in August or after 4pm. Then it might not be such fun after all.


Problem here is a Chief Executive of Mega Corp might think 'sod this, I might as well just work 10 till 4 on a Tesco's check out'. Not long after Mega Corp will close, followed by many people's jobs.


Who's peace shall we have? Perhaps move all the Isrealies to your town, hand Europe to the Russians, let America do whatever it wants? Maybe we could all become Muslim?

And that's the problem isn't it... we all want peace except we want our version of it. Someone is bound to be unhappy at what they're given and it won't be long before they begin to get uppity about it.

Instead, I propose we all go and buy our own nuclear power station. Pay yourself a big fat salary, go home at 3pm each day and dump the radioactive waste on the restless natives. There, all your problems solved at a stroke.
