easy to keep in touch with people
good way to share photographs rather than emailing them
easy way to see what your friends are up to and vice versa
if you have time to waste it manages that quite easily for you...!
if you don't join it you're quite likely just to have about 50 million emails a day (no less!!) from friends wanting to be your friend on it (I'm staying strong re facebook lol!)
