A £2M POT FOR ADELE
QUEEN of Hell’s Kitchen Adele Silva plans to open her own Adele’s Kitchen and cook up a fortune.
She is set to earn more than £2million over the next 12 months after proving a massive hit on the ITV1 reality show.
And one company even wants to back Adele’s dream of opening her own restaurant.
More than 8m viewers tuned in last night to see the tasty 26-year-old’s head-to-head showdown with ex-boxer Barry McGuigan, 46, in a gripping finale.
Big-money offers have been flooding in. A close friend admitted last night: “Adele is in huge demand and thanks to Hell’s Kitchen the world really is her oyster.”
Tears
But Adele broke down in tears after confessing: “I will never forget the memories I’ve had from here.”
The show’s kitchen boss Marco Pierre White, 45, told the pair: “I’m going to miss you when you go. I tried to get myself voted off yesterday but they wouldn’t let me!
“Congratulations, well done you’ve both come through with your reputations intact which I think is important.”
Adele’s deals include cook books, telly programmes, including a cookery slot, modelling and telly advertisements.
A pal said: “Several companies have come up with ideas for eateries using Adele’s name. It’s a chance she never thought she’d have.” Marco added: “Adele has been fantastic. If she wasn’t an actress she could definitely become a chef full-time.
“She is very focused and organised. I think she definitely has what it takes to run her own kitchen. She wanted to learn and listened to what I was saying.
“I hope what I’ve taught her will change the way she cooks forever.”
Adele already has a six-figure lingerie deal with Debenhams, who want to extend the contract.
Stage bosses have also approached Adele about following Hell’s Kitchen winner Jennifer Ellison into the West End, and ITV chiefs are also keen to cast Adele in a glossy drama series.
Adele is on a year’s break from her role as Kelly Windsor in Emmerdale and will make her final appearance next month.
A spokeswoman said: “Adele will be back in 12 months.”
Barry’s career is also expected to receive a huge boost. Sources claimed companies were lining up with commercial deals including potato, chip and crisp adverts after the Ulsterman’s mashed potato became legendary in the show.
Barry’s wife, mum-of-four Sandra, 46, said: “To say Barry couldn’t cook before Hell’s Kitchen is an understatement.”
