IN THE DIARY ROOM
Pupils at a Plymouth school have had their say on the way they are taught in a Big Brother-style video diary room - but none of their teachers was up for eviction.About 60 youngsters at Ridgeway School in Plympton spoke into a camera in a touring booth as part of a consultation which should deliver their opinions to Cabinet minister Ed Balls.
The Government is using the reality television-type diary room so students can speak freely and confidentially in a familiar style rather than just filling in a form to pass on their opinions.
