OK so I am home now, STILL not well with this cold type thing.

I have had beechamps and lemsip max strength, lots of hot toddies, fresh fruit, codlive oil, garlic and vit c caps.

Fresh veg, fresh garlick, chillies and vics!

What do you recomend???

also have had steaming hot baths and been burning lavender and clary sage in oil burner as well.

I recommend Benelin Day and Night Capsules, you get three capsules which are yellow for the morning, afternoon and early evening, and you take a blue capsule before you go to sleep. They are brilliant and really help me when im not well hun.

My mums been ill with it since 2 days before xmas and she cant shift it!

Sister in law and nephews had it for about 2 weeks too....

I recommend staying in bed and getting someone to wait on you while you relax...get lots of sleep and rest!!

Sudafed caps are good for blocked & runny noses!

Yeah, ive got a virus, got a really sore throat and an earache, its not a cold though, but if I had a cold I would be taking those Benelin tablets and putting some olbas oil on a tissue to unblock my nose!! I love the smell of Olbas oil *realises its probably wierd to say that but doesnt mind*

Get someone to rub vicks vapour rub on your chest!!!

My nan always said to put it on the soles of our feet when we were kids....glad mum didnt do that or we'd have been slipping about all over the place!!!

olbas oil makes me sneeze....thats weirder

...its suposed to help that sort of thing but it makes me worse

I would suggest sex ...it might not CURE your cold but it will definitely unblock your nose!!! :wink: (honestly this works)
