Does seem a massive coincidence that she was scheduled to be in the Southern hemisphere, for the 3 weeks a contestant would need to be there, mind. Maybe she's taking the DJing job, and is on a reserve list, or summat. Two birse one stone.

Or maybe she just did miss her flight, and she was never even in the picture.

Gemma Atkinson looks certain and she's the same agency so I doubt it.Maybe another year but I'm not sure it's for Kate as she's doing Ok as it is-plus she's definitely booked into real Brasil gigs.Its very different to lounging about for two weeks as in CLIT.

Firstly, Kate appeared on 'Celebrity Wrestling', produced by the same guys as 'IACGMOOH' - it was garbage, a complete dud - though the producers loved Kate's performance, her energy & willingness to promote the sadly conceived mess.
Kate's team won, btw - Kate won the same amount of points as her equal, Annabelle Croft. Kate was a semi-finallist.
Then, The Great Lady appeared on 'Love Island', produced by the same people as IACGMOOH - a dud as far as the 'critics' were concerned(though all critics preferred it to that year's Big Brother - BB7).
Kate arrived for the last two weeks, but still made the final. It was always going to be 'young Bianca' who won the show because she had been on a 'journey, etc'(with Leo! & Calum!). Kate would have finished second if there wasn't a sympathy vote for 'boring' Kelly(Kelly wanted to be with Calum - the producer's made sure it was a 'lovely' time).

Kate took the p!ss out of the 'love-shack' guy, 'Marty' on 'Love Island' but he didn't get the joke & got very nasty - he is the same guy who talks to celebs in the shack on IACGMOOH.

Anyway, the only person from Big Brother who The Daily Star say is appearing is Chantelle Houghton from CBB4.

Tim Shaw brought up IACGMOOH with Kate on Kerrang Radio this morning - and Kate dismissed it - for her gigs in Brazil.
Who knows? - probably considered, though!

Fair enough, Vilt - I don't know much about Gemma.
I do know she earns a hell of a lot money from being a tabloid 'glamour' girl & from lads' mags.
Kate is a respected House DJ & aspires to be a radio/tv presenter.

This is most probably frivolous nonsense based on what you say, & any appearance by Kate on IACGMOOH 7 is a complete long shot, but:

I find it strange for Kate to say on Kerrang that she's missed flights/waiting for for flights to be confirmed when she is usually impeccable when it comes to DJ dates(though I say she shouldn't have cancelled any for 'Love Island 2').

On this morning's Kerrang show, not long after it started, Tim asked Kate when she would be flying to Brazil to DJ, & Kate said her promoter had been in touch to inform her she would be flying out from Heathrow at 7.35am Thursday 08/11/07(ie tomorrow) - as far as we know, probably true - Kate has had 'to be confirmed' dates for a Brazilian dance festival on her myspace site for months.

Then, Tim mentioned the papers & pointed to a Daily Star story about IACGMOOH which referred to certain bizarre 'foods' celebrities are required to eat for the 'bush tucker trials' in the new series.
He asked Kate would she eat 'crocodile's winkle', bat's bladder, etc.(not sure if Tim was making the dishes up!)
Kate said 'No' to all of them, but when asked whether she like the programme, she said yes 'because alot of money was raised for charity'.

Probably a load of baloney, but who knows??

Kate was back on Kerrang today.
Kate enjoyed the Brazil experience despite the fact that it was hard work travelling & it rained everyday. As it was mainly DJ work she didn't do the high spending tourist thing; she stayed in basic hotels & saw the poverty that was there.
Still, not bad having Brazil on your DJ portfolio.

She seemed really glad to be back at Kerrang which suggests she is happy there.
Tim Shaw took the mickey as usual but seemed really pleased to have Kate back - he was amazed that after all the travelling she had done over the previous 24 hours which meant Kate didn't actually get to her Birmingham flat till very late, she still turned up.
Kate's written a short 'back from Brazil' blog on her myspace site.

It's difficult at this stage to say how Kate's tenure at Kerrang will go but with the Brazil distraction out of the way she can crack on.

Kate is a go-and-get-it kind of female and she is takes her career seriously so it is no suprise to me that she will honour her contract in Brazil even tho she has started at Kerrang!

It's definitely a good job for Kate.

Kate ignores Tim Shaw's obsessive, adolescent remarks; she gets on with her job.
She needs to lead a bit more - but Tim Shaw is an obsessive jock at times.
Suffice to say, he has an obsessionial hatred of Chris Moyles.

As I said before, Kate should learn everything she can from the guy.

Not joking, listened to the show today, it was brilliant, nothing you would hear elsewhere.

What's interesting is hearing Tim Shaw - who knows he's fantastic, will probably go national - & Katie - who ALWAYS affects people around her.

I don't remember anything that special but the friday next day was.Kate turning asian and speaking fluent punjabi and entertaining the bangra dancers with her own dancing.

'The Morning After's' producer 'Juicy Lucy' has moved into Kate's Birmingham flat.
Puts pay to the garbage posted by Kate-haters [about 4(sadly)obsessed & deluded kate-haters on the internet, to be acccurate] who have said Kate Lawler is difficult to work with.

aww - a nice moment - Tim Shaw met Kate's mom, Sylvia, for the first time today.
There was a scientific study in the papers saying mothers pass on their favourite foods to their babies in the womb.
Tim carried out a 'scientific' experiment where he asked & recorded what foods Kate liked, & then did the same for Kate's mom whom he spoke to on the phone having give her no prompt.
Suffice to say, Kate & her mom's palate were remarkably similar.

At the end Tim ditched his usual p!ss-take persona for a moment & made a point of saying Kate & her mom were two lovely ladies.
