JADE SET TO WED IN SECRET
FIERY Jade Goody and Jack Tweed have booked a New York wedding a month after getting back together.
And the pair tried to keep their happy news a secret by booking a church under false names. Jeff Tweed, who is an elderly relative of Jack’s, is set to wed Jade Foggy – a nickname she often uses for reservations.
The nuptials will take place at Riverside Church in Manhattan on February 29 – the Leap Year day when traditionally girls can propose to their boyfriends.
One pal joked: “Jade has always been the main breadwinner. Maybe the date underlines who is the boss in the relationship.”
The news is a pleasant shock for the couple’s friends as it was only three months ago that they split up, following numerous bust-ups and claims of infidelity.
The Big Brother star, 26, blamed the split on poor communication after she and Jack, 20, struggled to come to terms with her miscarriage this year.
Although the pair got back together within two months, they recently had another huge public row. It ended in Jack skulking home in the rain after Jade threw his phone out of their car.
The church where they will marry overlooks the Hudson River and has held services attended by US Presidents and other historic figures.
Afterwards, the couple have arranged a lavish champagne reception for 200 at the stylish Twenty Four Fifth ballroom, in the former Fifth Avenue Hotel.
A spokesman for Jade admitted she had recently discussed marriage in an interview but added: “She says she has not booked any wedding.
“It may be two other people with very similar names.”
