Sorry I don't have anything to put here yet ,but with the weather turning cold and the arrival of Autumn with a bump it's time for the new thread.

Get some pictures up asap, Larry, as I'm going to be looking for great Autumn shots to show my class. Your photos should be perfect, if you don't mind me *borrowing* them to show the kids...

I'll have a look at the ones in the camera I took last weekend. Not sure if they look very autumn but by all means feel free to use them.

Don't think I've got any on the website but again if you find anything you can used them.

Saw an interesting scene the other morning and should have pulled over to take the picture. Looking towards Wellingborough from the back road Wellingborough is down in a valley and there was mist hanging over part of the town which looked rather good.

I'll have to go out early in the morning to get one of the Honeysuckle which is a mixture of flowers and Red berries.

Forecast for the rest of the year is for an above average Autumn going by the 1971-2000 average but it'll but noticeably colder than 2006.

OK have some mainly Autumn pictures taken this morning. Their not all (2 exceptions) from my garden but the zoom comes in useful.












The only one that's not quite right is the first one, auto-focus went for a bush to the right of the picture. If I'd checked I'd have reshot it using manual.

The one with the apples is an interesting one as those apples must but around 30 feet high. I certainly wouldn't want to be walking under them if one fell off !

They're lovely Larry, this is a great time of year.

Walking through piles of crunching leaves is one of my favourite things ever.

Thought it was time I added a few more.

The last one is one of my attempts at a Sunrise. I've played around with the shadows as the foreground was rather dark due to the bright Sun.

Thought the Holly was very seasonal.
