I'd love Brian to do BBLB. I think that Russell Brand showed last night that the people who have been *on the inside* to some extent on BB are the ones who make the most of entertaining the punters about the show itself.
The reverse in actual fact- the viewing figures have gone down - the viewing figures may have been raised during Russell's appearance, but hype due to his ever-willing appearances in the tabloids never sustains. Every Russell Brand TV show since Kate Moss has flopped.
Yes, he may well have made millions since the Kate Moss hype, but every TV show he's got since has got bad ratings in the long-term.
Why? Because he's not as funny or clever as he thinks he is - his performance on Endemol's & John Noel's CBB5 was particulary bad.
I came home one saturday night & saw Russell Brand on the Jonathan Ross show.
Ross always wants to be associated with 'anybody' who is deemed 'successful' - no matter how good they are.
Ross(who doesn't really have a clue) asked Russell why he was bringing out an autobiography when he had only been 'famous' for six months.
The look on Russell's face was a picture - er, since Kate Moss & all the hype.
Just because Russell Brand(after the Kate Moss hype) became 'famous' thanks to John Noel Managenment promotion doesn't mean he's 'great' - yes, his groupies think so - but not intelligent society.
