Brian's official site is reporting that Brian is to present a three part documentary series on RTE One prime time.

The series will be called "So You Want to Be Famous" and the first part airs on Thursday 24 January at 10.15 pm - 11.05 pm with the remaining parts at the same time in the following two weeks.

The documentary is to look at all aspects of Irish celebrity culture.

:D Way to go Brian! Thats the way to recover from the disappointment of the Golden Globes. This will be Brian's first prime time presenting job on a major channel. Well done to him and may it lead to many more on both sides of the Irish Sea.

He did get plenty of recognition in Ireland (and votes from Ireland) when he was in BB. Ditto when he was on 'Hell's Kitchen'. Deservedly so, too, in my opinion.

Other stuff he would have done on British t.v. wouldn't attract the same attention here.

I think he could have carved a niche for himself on Irish t.v., had he wanted to, in the years following his BB victory. I could have seen a Saturday night live chat show, for example. I was under the impression that he chose to be based in the U.K.

Delighted to hear about this Prime Time programme, and wish him further success.

Brian is also a guest on the 'Tubridy Tonight' chat show on RTÉ One tonight 19th Jan at 9.50pm. No doubt to chat about the forthcoming series.

The RTÉ One 'Tubridy Tonight' website puts up clips from the show shortly after it airs.
