Why do people in the United Kingdom get everything they want and us American’s are left with nothing…

Now, the even get to enjoy our wonderful version of the Big Brother franchise. Big Brother 9 is set to air on E4 (Channel 4’s sister channel) on February 14th, two days after the US premiere. Two episodes will be broadcast every Thursday night with the third episode possibly airing on Tuesdays. Why can’t we get imported versions as well?

Here’s the official statement:

Watching now.

Quite like it... Ooooh they're all so bitchy ::lol::

Seems I pegged Neil and Josh correctly as a couple... mind you, I wouldn't care if Josh was gay or not, in my dreams he will always be picking up the soap ;)

Super lovin' the second show right now... someone said that others were caling the black dude a 'snake' and now black dude (Parker) has woken everyone up and asked Ryan to say who he overheard calling him a snake... he says nothing and the group is now convinced he made it all up. Delicious stuff, Parker is head of house so its looking dangerous for Ryan. Why they don't do this in BB:UK has aways mystified me.

Mmmm well, Ryan survived and so did the ex-model (and eye popping partner) who also pretty much had expected to go.

Forgot who actually went... they don't give you much time to learn their names in this show.

James (the around the world cyclist) is wearing tight pink shorts in his love boat... not sure why I mentioned that but you can't miss it. Seems a nice chap, little bit camp but get rid of that dyed hair and he'd be quite cute.

Still trying to work out who is who... someone has an ex-partner in the house AND they've been matched up too. Another couple have been dating on the outside for 9 months but have been partnered with other people. Seem this last fact is being hidden from most of the other HMs though.

Oh slight mistake above, Parker and gal' friend were only a Power Couple (even though they got to evict), the Love Boat task was to decide the actual HoH.

Just seen Josh in shorts... flabby lad can now pick up soap in the shower unmolested. I'm going to lust after Neil for a bit instead.... or maybe that smile of James will win me over?

HoH is won by Amanda and Alex.... ooooh that Alex is a dish :oops: Where's he been hiding?

::lol::

The voice over at the end sounded just like that old sit-com Soap (ironic as I've mentioned the word a couple of times) as they rounded up who what and when.

I wasn't in tonight, and am not sure I'll get to watch BB USA. Not sure I want to watch BB9 UK, in fact...hopefully the nice people in End'em'all will surprise me, with the innovative ideas, in the summer.

Great task (as always in BB USA) in the opening show - can't remember all their names yet. That Adam has a weird stare - it's like he has one eye looking at ya.... and one eye looking for ya ${

I'm glad Parker called Jacob's bluff, just a pity that Jacob's partner had to leave with him, I honesty thought it would be Adam and Sheila going, they're as bad as each other in different ways.IMO

Alex is soo handsome, I didn't think he and Amanda were suited but they seem to get on well together.

Loved the show and I wish the producers of BBUK would take some hints and give us British viewers more of an adult version of BB.

I have to agree... while I wouldn't want to go too far towards the over-polished and scripted US style show, you have to admit their tasks are better and so is their encouraging of the back stabbing.

Over the years people have often said they don't watch BB because its for kids! That's not quite true but its the perception that the GBP have of the show. Ironically, many of those same people will happily tune into "I'm a Celeb..."

BB really needs to rethink where they're going with the show... time and again they've made the same dreadful mistakes and are still making them. Its not rocket science, half the members on this forum could double the shows viewing figures without even trying.

Rant over.

I'm with Mads (we're just good friends though, I wouldn't want to get 'papped' coming out of Tescos with her) its about time they made the show about relationships and interactions with each other... not the Kiddy Fame Quest they've allowed it to become.

Tescos!?! now John you know we shop at Waitros but with your slip-up about our relationship it will be all over the net by now so we we will have to start shopping in Asda or the local Spar supermarket. ;) {@} @^@
