I like it a lot Christine. It was a surprise to see the site had changed but after the initial "eek!, it's all different!" feeling, I think it's great.

One thing I've noted is that links aren't highlighted so you have to manually make then stand out from the text.

But overall I like it.

Great it's fixed!

I was working :drink:

when I was told of the posting issues this evening, so I have only just looked into it.

The site was moved to a new server today, with MySQL5 (was MySQL3). It seemed to work, but there was posting problem caused by the jump between versions. I hope it's fixed now.

The site is on the latest software now.

Yes I noticed that as well and I have added it to the list to see if we can do anything about this without having to do it manually each time - don't know if we can though, but we shall look into it.

Please accept our apologies everyone for the downtime and problems yesterday. These were nothing to do with the new site, but due to the fact that we moved the site to a new server. The new server had a newer version of MySQL software on it which caused problems with our database and people couldn't post.

It probably wasn't a good idea to introduce a new site at the same time as moving to a new server, but hey, why not get it out of the way all at once in time for BB9!

Not sure if I'm going mad or not, but the links look the same as before to me.

Working here Christine... links now show as dark red. Not sure how the colour is specified but it will probably show properly next time your computer downloads a fresh copy.

Well done for all the hard work you and others have done here... I know exactly the work thats involved so I can appreciate the sweat going on in the background.
