KATE LAWLER fans will be happy to learn she has promised to strip…in exchange for some hard cash.
The ex-Big Brother babe has signed up for the London marathon next month, but the Daily Star stunner is having trouble raking in the sponsorship.
“I’m trying to raise £20,000 but haven’t managed to raise anywhere near that yet! We’re on about £1,500 with just a month to go.”
The countdown to the big day has begun, when avid Arsenal fan Kate will join thousands of runners for the gruelling 26.2 mile run around the capital.
“I only need £18,500 before I can run in my knickers and bra,” she told dailystar.co.uk.
“If I do hit the target I’m going to run it in my ANN SUMMERS underwear.”
Judging by these hot modelling pics, the raunchy DJ will be turning a few heads if she does strip off for the London marathon.
But will she reach her cash target before April 13? The blonde babe is hopeful that she will raise the dosh for a great cause.
“I though my promise to strip would be an incentive for people to sponsor me, but no one seems to be that bothered!”
“I’m running for Cystic Fibrosis sufferers because it’s a cause that’s close to my heart.
“My friend’s daughter has CF and I promised her that one day I’d run the marathon for her to raise as much money as I could.
Kate may be a marathon first-timer but she’s determined to get round the punishing course no matter how long it takes.
“It’s is quite a distance and it will be a struggle but I’ll complete it no matter what, even if I have to walk round!”

A passionate footie-fan, radio DJ and Ann Summers model, stunning Kate admits that her gruelling schedule means training sessions are pretty much non-existent.
“I’m pretty fit but I haven’t been doing much training what with the breakfast show and my DJ-ing,” she told us.

Radio DJ and Big Brother winner Kate Lawler has promised to run the marathon in her underwear if she can raise enough money.
The Ann Summers model is aiming to raise £20,000 for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust by running the Flora London Marathon.
On her Kerrang radio show Kate pledged to run the race in just her Ann Summers lingerie if she could raise the money.
Cystic Fibrosis is the UK’s most common, life-threatening inherited disease claiming three lives each week
The money raised by Kate will help fund research into treating and curing CF, as well as providing support, advice and clinical care to the 8,000 babies, children and young adults with Cystic Fibrosis in the UK.
She said: “One of my best friend’s daughters has CF and I’ve always wanted to run the London Marathon so I decided this was this year to do it!
“It’s going to be a challenge but I am training hard and really looking forward to it. I’m trying to raise £20,000 in sponsorship.
“As I said on my Kerrang! Radio Breakfast show, if I manage it I have promised to run the marathon in my Ann Summers undies! Please sponsor me and help people with CF look forward to a brighter future.”
