Not the result I was hoping for, tonight. It will be 'revealed' tomorrow.

I never see the Sunday show, so have to rely on getting the result via underhand methods.

That final was breath-taking, i.m.o. Seeing Jodie and Jessie standing there, waiting for the result, both of them trying so hard to hold back the tears....I was in tears myself!

I'm glad Jodie won, but would have been equally delighted if Jessie had become Nancy.

I'm sure there will be other roles for the 18-year-old Irish girl, though.

Now I've got to go and watch the result of Britain's Got Talent - so much emotion!

Great to see such talented people getting some airtime...and then next week...perhaps, from the sublime to...BB. ::lol::

JODIE IS NANCY WINNER
By Susie Boniface

Triumphant Jodie Prenger was crowned the "Nation's Nancy" last night after winning I'd Do Anything.

Jodie, 28, who slimmed from 18 stone to 10 for the BBC show, won the female lead in the new West End production of Oliver!

She beat Irish hopeful Jessie Buckley, 18, in a nail-biting final ...despite losing out on the votes of judges Cameron Macintosh, Andrew Lloyd Webber and Barry Humphries.

Jodie, from Blackpool, will spend the next six months training before launching her West End career.

Afterwards as runner-up Jessie sobbed, Jodie said: "I love you guys, thank you all so much. From the bottom of my heart, I'm so chuffed."

Macintosh said he was "thrilled" and Lloyd Webber hailed her "the people's choice."
