An off topic mention..... I am picking my brother up from the airport tomorrow and my sister is over from the states too and it will be the first time my family has been together in the same place for 15 years!!  shame it took my mother having cancer to make it happen. Still, there's nowt like a family reunion :D

Hiya Boopy

Sorry to hear about your mum but it must be wonderful for her to have all her family around.

Bboop I echo all the other sentiments, glad it's brought your family together

anyway

BB spot (slightly on topic) this lunchtime (before before into the 2 semi naked men on Oxford St) I saw Geoffrey Beattie

coupled with last Tuesday's sighting of Seany and I think Jonty, as I waited in line for Phantom, it seems there's no escaping BB (even when I'm not watching)

Now, darkhawk is a gentleman, and he don't mind what goes on in this thread. He'll whip us into shape if needs be...ahem. :D

I prayed for your mum this morning, BBoop, and also for Larry's cousin.

off topic: (I mean REALLY off-topic)....saw a fascinating programme about Ian Paisley tonight...and how he and Martin McGuinness functioned so well, as First Minister and Deputy First Minister in the Northern Ireland Assembly.

Someone pointed out that the 'Northern Ireland issue' was the longest running conflict in modern-day history, and the fact that such progress has been made is remarkable. I remember the dark days, and hope we never see their like again.

yay back to square one, well done TD

GG - where did you get the silly idea I'm a gentlemen, now make me a cuppa tea ;)

anyway back to my random thought processes

I'm hoping BBC3 will be showing the second series of Last Man Standing soon, which I think was on around this time last year. I'm always on the look out for non-BB stuff to watch, as my true devotion to the series died when Nikki was brought back.

the new Coldplay album is out this week, which seems to have positive reviews

lots of football for me to watch, I've become semi-Spainish mainly because Liverpool FC are too

I shall also try to catch some of the Queens Club tennis, if I get home from work in time

randomness over ...... for now :flowerpower:

what is it with these so called football experts who dont even know the laws of the game :8o:

hollands first goal last night was clearly onside because the italian hadnt been given permission to leave the field, but still the "experts" wont admit they were wrong

******* idiots

They were delicious.

They had a yellow label so were either nearly at their sell buy or a bit broken. I actually bought 2 packs at that price , one for tomorrow.
Asda do a lot of reduced yellow labels and that's the only time I buy things like that. :D

Me and the kids often so on what we called ' a treasure hunt' ie look for the yellow (gold) labels. In the past I have got raspberries for 10p, french stick for 1p and steak for 20p!
