They were delicious.

Me and the kids often so on what we called ' a treasure hunt' ie look for the yellow (gold) labels. In the past I have got raspberries for 10p, french stick for 1p and steak for 20p!

I once got cooked smoked mackerel for 5p - that was in a Cardiff store, and I ate it later in the motel room, while watching Emma and Michelle bouncing around when the discovered the secret bedsit in BB5 (oops, sorry, I must try harder to be off-topic  ) - unfortunately, I didn't finish all the mackerel, and the rest of the family didn't appreciate the whiff from the bin...

And I once got sushi dirt cheap in Tesco Metro, Canary Wharf (and there were you, thinking I hadn't got class. ::lol:: )

Also got a pile of Tesco chilled foods reduced to something like 30c (from €3.99 or something) - one of them came in handy as a last-minute Christmas dinner, when husband unexpectledly got a couple of hours off work, one Christmas Day.

Hyacinth Bouquet I am not.

I

same with my son's Indiana Jones psp game. I opted for the free delivery and it got there just as quickly as the fast track option.

was gonna post this in the Sylvia is a plant thread, but realised it was a bit off topic

so......

Mads what's wrong with FedEx - he's a genius

anyway here's hoping Marat isn't a one round wonder, he's class when his head's right

I'm bored by the Williams and now Maria's out I can't see who will stop them. Ivanovic has a rubbish serve and Jankovic is a bit of a choker

Rafa - Mens
somebody Williams - Ladies

which court will you be on?

apparently there are Centre Court tickets available 48 hrs ahead, for testing new seats in "lap of the gods" sections - should anyone be interested check online

I always take the first week of Wimbledon off every year, people at work think I'm a bit silly (like I care ::lol:: )

Hang on a minute, I turn off the tennis when Murray is 2-0 down and 5-4 down against serve and go back to see what match is on now and he's still there at 2-2? Good effort. Unless he's going to be the new Tim Henman and get a matchpoint in the 5th and bottle it, we could do without that anymore.
