once again im glad to be a vegetarian

Obo...why did you decide to be a veggie at the age of 4 then?

My mother very kindly recounted the story for us (us being several of mums relatives myself and paul) the other day....

While eating beef with a roast dinner one sunday I turned to mum and said "whats beef is it an animal?" To which mum in her infinite wisdom replied "yes it's a cow" To which 4 year old Joanne replies "so it was once alive and now im eating it?? well Im not eating it again" And I never did!!!

They got away with not letting on what sausages, burgers and chicken was until I was 7 and then I cottoned onto that too.... My dad said "it's funny cos until then she always had a bit of meat in her hand she'd run round eating it"

Paul looked up and said "not a lot's changed has it love?"

To which the entire family laughed hysterically!!

oh dear, i was never clever enough to know what it was!

Paul said to his mum last christmas but she's not a true vegetarian she DOES eat meat...

His mum quizzed me all day on exactly what meat i ate, until his 13 year old sister said "mum he's being rude"....she still didnt understand!! LMAO
