Fair play to her for mentioning it yesterday and going through with it today though rather than 'doing a Chanelle'. Though that was probably helped (judging by the clip I saw on BBLB) by BB practically offering to pack her bags for her rather than the usual 'talk it over with your HMs, sleep on it, sleep on it again, well you might as well stay til the weekend, oh go on, oh go on, oh go on' speech they usually give a potential walker.

Wow, I didn't see that one coming! But the more of the boring ones that are gone, the better, she did absolutely nothing, there was no point in her being there, I don't know why BB puts people like that in the house!

I am livid.

I think the girl was shafted, to be honest (and no, I don't mean she got to share Hippo's Rice Krispies)...

She was a good housemate, if a little quiet. She did well at the previous week's HOH task. She had integrity. She didn't flaunt herself, or try to wrap the guys around her finger, in a manipulative way.

She had dignity.

And it irks me that Rex - the guy who, let's be clear about it, knows EVERYTHING - decided that Maysoon didn't act like a 'real' model, because she didn't hang around the house in a bikini all day.

Actually, Rex, modeling is a job. As in, something you get paid to do. It doesn't necessarily mean you've got to flaunt your body, 24/7. I'm sure you've met other 'models', Rex, who 'performed' far more satisfactorily, but Maysoon was entitled to behave in any way she liked. And in my opinion, she behaved very well.

And another way Rex showed himself up was that he understood that Maysoon may have wanted to seem demure whilst her family were watching, but felt the need to show he knows everything by exaggerating (or even making up) how provocative her video was. He couldn't show respect for Maysoon's feelings and that of her family. The boy's not all that bright, and also a bit nasty.

All I could see in that VT was a girl flirting a bit with the camera.

PS I love it how we all say VT-we're all so TVish!

I enjoyed watching Maysoon chatting with others on the live feed. I think she came across well, and if I'd been in there I'd have been glad to have someone like her there.

They can't all be like Bex and Belinda!!!

I'm disappointed .... with the way Maysoon came across in HLs show (ie not at all)

she was my initial favourite after weeks of deliberating, based on her VT package but she failed to come close to that. I'm sure she did come across better on the live feed than HL, but like most viewers I missed this

I bet the others up for eviction are getting even more worried now, because I reckon they thought she stood a good chance of going as she was the newbie.
