Big Brother geek Luke Marsden and busty Rebecca Shiner tied the knot in glitzy Las Vegas yesterday.

And the sensational ceremony was conducted by none other than Elvis Presley himself.

Afterwards, cheeky student Luke announced to the world: “I have finally taken Rebecca up the aisle!”

He and nursery nurse Bex, both 21, told us last week how they would love to tie the knot in gambling capital Las Vegas.

So your Daily Star decided to make their dream come true. We whisked the pair off to seal their love at the city’s most famous chapel – the Wee Kirk O’ The Heather.

And as Elvis sang Viva Las Vegas, Luke said: “I do, Rebecca, I do!”

The happy couple said it was the perfect ceremony – and the Daily Star was there every step of the way.

If it's 'real', one must wonder if they have a brain between them at all.

The pair of them would do say anything to get their ugly mugs in the news so I wouldn't be surprised if the story is true, even tho Bex looked lik she was going to be sick when Davina was asking her about the so called romance between her and Luke at her eviction interview.

This morning, one of the more, er, colourful tabloid newspapers printed pictures of Luke and Bex and claimed that they’d got married in Vegas, a la Peaches. If you just glanced at the front page in the newsagents and didn’t read the small print, you might even have believed it – but don’t worry, the whole thing is one big practical joke. Oh, how very hilarious. We normally love following the ups and downs of Big Brother couples, but this year all the attention-seeking is just too much. We would have ignored the silly Luke and Bex thing completely if it weren’t for the dozens of e-mails we’ve received asking if it’s true, but please be assured, it’s NOT (although we wouldn’t put it past Bex to do a thing like that). In other Big Brother news, the housemates have now discovered that the “dead” goldfish was actually just sleeping. Phew, drama over. Now we can all get on with our lives…
