Glad that Darnell pulled Mo up on the fact that just cos Sara kissed him, shouldn't mean he should value her over others, a point he appears to have missed on Monday.

Well I don't think that HL show has taken me any nearer to knowing who the winner might be.

Cameron, Rex has calmed down a lot in recent days. I wish you were on the HL's thread when he was a total ******* ******.

These days, he is a bit of ******* ******, but not nearly so much of a ******* ****** as he was a while back.

If it was up to me, I'd crown Mikey the winner.

Annoyingly they didnt show when Rachel won her one against Rex how ill natured both Nicole and Rex where about it, Nicole loudly claiming Rachel had crossed the line and thus failed and Rex just turning his back on her, while Rachel was sweetly offering to give the chocolate to them.

As always, it's useful to know what we're not been shown, thanks Ethelrose.

But I suppose if they were to show all the bad stuff concerning Rex, there'd be precious little time for anything else. ::lol::

After laughing at verysarkycow's very sarky but terribly witty comment for 4 hours; I decided to fire up the Mutoscope and partake of tonight's rib-tickling performance of Big Brother.

My first observation was of the wonky fish... clearly worse for wear after a night on the stolen cider. I think Rex should apologise to Mo'.

Also, Lisa's Diary Room piece concerning her dream of 'celeb athletes'... I just wish BB had thought to ask her to reel a few off names. I suspect she was speaking cobblers and wouldn't have been able to name any participants in the current Olympics? In fact the whole conversation sounded like she was waffling and actually had little of anything interesting to say... she's quickly becoming the Wallpaper Housemate who managed to fool most of the people most of the time - a noteable achievement surely?

Mohamed talking in the Diary Room about nominating Rachel... said that he was surprised when he heard her name come up! Haha! Lending weight to my suspicion perhaps that it was a throw-a-way nomination? The idea being you dump a vote on someone not likely to be up in the hope of stacking the chances of your other choice topping the list. The only niggling thing is that he knew Rex (and presumingly also Nicole) were aiming to nominate Rachel over that 'cake task' business... Mmmm can't quite get my head around this one. If it were me, I'd have purposely set out to use the possiblility of a strong HM like Rachel being up to get rid of the weaker Stuart, perhaps Mohamed is smarter than we assume? Maybe it was a mistake and he hadn't thought it through? I'm also wondering if Mohamed has simply run out of targets. Stuart has been in his firing line for ages but aside from him, who else could he nominate? Could this also explain the mental stress Mohamed has been suffering from recently and his sudden voicing of a desire to leave (to avoid nominating friends)?

Back to the fish again... can't remember what they were originally named (Gilbert and something) and they promised Dale they wouldn't rename them if he were evicted. Hmmmm, yes well, bad news chum, the moment you left they did exactly that.

More fishiness... Why was Rachel repeating over and over that Big Brother was going to look after the survivor? He actually said "Big Brother will take care of it"... I'm not sure that's the same thing?

Naughty Rachel... obviously milking the moment and then deciding to drag Mikey along too because she know's he'd play along. For once Nicole actually nailed it with "Plurleeezzze" when she heard that Rachel had been crying over the death of Flipper (or whatever its now called).

The Big Brother Games were a hoot... I'd loved to have known how many laps Rex did after following Rachel's 180+ rotations with the egg and spoon? Can't imagine he'd have gone on for nearly as long as that. And didn't Nicole look bored? Hope Rex doesn't bother wasting any money on a box down that London 2012 thing? Mind you, she did perk up when Rex had to wear that Palm Tree thing... maybe he could get some kind of tropical augmentation work done for her next birthday, I'm sure she'd enjoy that?

Poor Mohamed, trying to speak hypothetically at the dining table but tripping himself up in the process... Darnell was all fit to burst after quickly realising Mo was about to fall flat on his face.

Later, Kat grilling Mohamed in the bedroom was a joy to watch. I really get off on this deep and meaningful stuff. Mohamed is a fascinating character and I just wish he'd let himself go a little more. There's a great relationship between those two but they both need to be a bit more honest with each other. Mohamed especially needs to stand up to Kat (and I believe he's trying to) because she'd respect that more than his dodging the issues out of politeness.

Sickening scenes in the bath between Terry and June... uhck! They look like they've been married 45 years for crying out loud.

Actually, a jolly good highlight show I thought ()^

7/10

An after thought (a sign of advancing age)

Those bloody fish again... I bet Syvia and Jennifer were having a fit last night at the sight of the stinky dead fish in one of the drinking cups! Still, its an interesting dilemma; which would you prefer, a tiddler or a todger in your best china?

Can't help wondering also if the ever gorgeous and supremely talented Davina McChav will engineer a tearful eviction reunion of Rachel with her fishy HM? Maybe the Daily Star will trump that with a Vegas style wedding at the Sealife Centre?

I don't agree. I'm throwing my lot in with the 'Rachel is genuine' theory, and I think she included Mikey in the 'rituals' because she realised that Mikey would find it a little upsetting, the fact that Heaven had departed.

I'm often surprised that HMs don't make more of a effort to describe things as they are happening to Mikey - I hate it when something 'exciting' happens, and the HMs are all screeching and jumping up and down, and Mikey has to ask for details. While I thought Rachel was a bit OTT in the beginning, assisting Mikey, I think she is one of the HMs who remembers to include him in things. He hadn't realised that Heaven had died, and it would have been easy for him to have missed out on the 'rituals' - this in turn could have had serious consequences for the grieving process. Okay, the last phrase was a bit tongue-in-cheek on my part, but I was sad that the fish had died, so can understand why the HMs could feel - gutted.

Mikey looked sad at Heaven's demise, but he made me laugh when he said in the diary room that the fish wasn't able to survive in the Big Brother house 'can you blame him?', or something like that.

The other bimbo thought it was amusing that the fish had died. Well, maybe it was. But there's no need to rubbish other HM's reaction to it. After she said her 'Plurleezzze', she immediately asked about her hair straighteners, or her eye-lash curlers, or her nipple-polishers, or something ...typical self-absorbed behaviour.

This is a really good series. I can tell it's been a really good series because nearly every HLs show has had something meaty to get your teeth into! :)

So, what about last night's then? Task - yeah blah blah, glad they've got the luxury budget. Kat cheating - again  Much more interesting stuff going on apart from the task.

Rachel - FISH MURDERER

Mo and Kat - nominations talk, and an interrogation from Kolonel Kat. Sly sneaky witch, she's basically sorted out with her Momo who to nom for the next two weeks. Could she get more loathsome? And what was very telling was the shot of the cookie jar, Kat's gimmick, left abandoned with an old mouldy custard cream in it.

Darnell is a nasty nasty piece of work. He perceives that Sara has spurned his advances, he's pathetically jealous of Stu so he starts sticking the knife into Sara with the others. He did much the same with Bex. Horrid little man who needs a big boot up the arse and out of the house.

I was absolutely appalled at the blatant manipulation of nominations by Darnell (and Kat) (where is Darnell's punishment for this?)

He (and Kat) has more or less being telling those in their group, that they must nominate outside of the group. So that will mean that if Stu goes tonight, Lisa and Sara will be up next week. They are just trying to make sure that they are not nominated, by putting ideas in Mo's head.

I actually felt as though they were bullying Mo. They were chastising him for whom he had nominated - what's it to do with them? They couldn't believe that one of their group was up, as that wasn't the plan.

No wonder Mo is saying he wants to go home! They call him their friend, but they are not being very nice to him.
