Kind of uncomfortable viewing, I could imagine the turmoil within Rex, when clearly he was thrown into panic because Nicole said she wanted Stu to stay. He interrogated Nicole. Despite the fact that he's told all and sundry how he'd prefer Rachel to have left, when Nicole gave that as her reason for saying she wanted Stu to stay, Rex clearly isn't satisfied with her answer.

There are times when I genuinely feel sorry for him - he does seem like a 9-year-old boy, who is desperate for attention and ...security.
