Turnip Queen.....John.......anyone?

What salient points should we be noting from the Sunday highlights?

You should all be drinking proper Scrumpy, not that watered down stuff made for fairies and teenagers. You'd not died until you've got smashed on the real stuff.

As for BB, I've still to watch the Saturday HL's... so you'll have to await for my input. ;)

Another classic Rex show. How does the man do it? How did he manage to get Mo to return cider! He's one of the best housemates they have ever had in that house. ::lol::

Rachel and Kat - I'm sorry but is anyone still fooled by these two? Seriously? I thought the fake blubbing on Saturday about Rex being a wittwe bit nasty to Kat was bad enough, without the attempt to grab airtime by shrieking about cookies and cuddles. It didn't work, because the boys had something far more interesting to say.

I'm with Cameron on this - you can get both in the North too. I prefer Magners, I think, but Bulmers is great with lots of ice at lunch time. I brought a can home with me.

But if I was a HM in the BB house, I'd grow to hate cider, I must admit. It's cheapo booze and with the lack of ice is kind of rotten

Here's where we differ. Ice with cider? What marketing bozo thought that one up? Yee-ugh.

Cider is repulsive anyway, so putting ice in it would be like putting a cocktail brolly in a glass of piss.

I wouldn't expect somebody like you to drink cider Bunny.

We can always depend on John to bring some reality to this show. Cheers John ()^

I'm a cheapo sort of woman, so it stands to reason that I'd like cheapo sort of booze.

No spirits for me. Or even beer! Just plonk and cider.

And no ice...though I realise I'm in a minority on that score!

The people on the London SE1 Community Forum once had a debate on the merits of different ciders, which led to them eventually growing their own apples, and making their own cider. I'm not sure if they still do it, but it was definitely one of the highlights of their year.

No. Bunny is a male. Maybe it is the name bunny that made you think he was female.

Actually I've always thought we should have a Male/Female indentifier under our names to be honest. I know it shouldn't matter what sex the writer is but for me it does, I'm a bit old fashioned and like to address replies accordingly.

You could be right, John. My username was chosen for me by an erstwhile member of this site once upon a time, and as I use a male avatar (Ainslie Henderson), I could be mistaken for a guy. Even putting Jo in my signature is a wee bit ambiguous, as there is at least one male actor who spells his name that way, which I always thought was the female way. Maybe I should put my full name - Joanna- in my sig.

As for the ice in cider debate - I like my hot drinks to burn the mouth off me, and my cold drinks to be absolutely freezing. I even put ice in white wine these days to keep it cold for longer. The only drink I leave alone is red wine, which needs to be on the warm side, unless it's fizzy shiraz.

Hmm...I think I'm happy enough the way things are.

I was once on a forum, where a post I did caused consternation. I know, I know, it's difficult to imagine such a thing. ::lol:: It was the sort of site that liked to think they championed free speech, but that was only in so far as everyone agreed with the owner's rather extreme views.

Anyway, there followed a debate between the members as to what 'he' (me) was up to, posting a differing view. I went back to say 'I'm not a he, I'm a woman', but they wouldn't believe me - they thought I was deliberately hiding my gender to confuse them! And all because my Username was something which they considered no woman would choose - something along the lines of 'Standard Edition'. Not that they were into stereotyping, or anything.

Don't know how the debate ended, or if they ever decided I might be telling the truth, because they deleted me. :x

I'm going to add "I'm not a lady!" to my profile somewhere.
