As revealed on BBLB, they'll have to do things like learn magic tricks, escape from a strait jacket, dress up as Elton John and Kiki Dee. Then they'll be given their shopping budget in 10p pieces and have to use it all up on fruit machines on the 2nd day of the task in order to pass or something similar.

Why wait til Nicole has gone to do a Las Vegas task, they could have had her help Rex pass a task where he has to party with strippers

Another excellent task and one the little fattie is bound to lose meaning she's up for the boot. THANK YOU GOD!

I think this is just for the shopping budget for the final week rather than eviction. BBLB didn't give much away about what will be happening on Wednesday.

Can they not just declare me king of the world and let me decide who gets booted? It would be so much better that way.

More rumours abound that Bex and Luke are going in still on Wednesday, cant see it happening myself, if it does happen they made it clear they hate Kat and Rachel on a recent VT and love Rex.

Vegas task sounds interesting.

Task: Viva Las Vegas
Day 83 - Tue 26 Aug 2008

It's a musical variety extravaganza...

Ooh la la! For this week's shopping task, housemates will experience the glitz and glamour of the entertainment capital of the world, Las Vegas.

On Day 1, Head of House Mohamed will choose housemates to play the roles of illusionist and glamorous assistant (who will learn and perform a mind boggling illusion), casino croupiers (who will each learn a sequence of six playing card flourishes), Elton John and Kiki Dee (who will learn and perform their smash hit, 'Don't Go Breaking My Heart') and an escapologist, who must learn to free themselves from a straitjacket.

Housemates will perform a Las Vegas variety show this evening. If they perform to Big Brother's satisfaction they will receive a luxury shopping budget of £5 per head per day.

But will what happens in Vegas stay in Vegas?

The housemates decide who does what...

The housemates were told earlier that they had five minutes to divide up the roles in the Viva Las Vegas Task. Mo read out the Task instructions, laughing throughout, before the five minute countdown began.

"I wanna become the escapologist," Rex announced instantly.

"We need to pass, obviously," Lisa noted. Casting aspersions on Rex's escapology ability, Lisa?! But Mo - being Rex's mate- seemed happy to go along with Rex's suggestion.

"Illusionist and glamour person," Mo then mused. "We need someone small, and I think that would be Sara or Rachel."

"I don't mind," Rachel said. "Whatever. I'm happy with either."

"Two coupes," Mo read.

"Croupiers," Rex corrected him. "It's hand to eye coordination."

"Do you think that's one of my greatest attributes?" Darnell asked sarcastically.

It was decided that Lisa and Rachel would be the croupiers. "I'm good at hand to eye, but I'm not the fastest," Lisa confessed. "But we'll have a go."

Sara and Kathreya were then chosen as assistant and illusionist respectively, and it was also easy to choose the singers.

"Elton John and Kiki - I want Darnell and Mikey to do that," Mohamed announced.

"Do you wanna be the dude, or shall I?" Darnell asked Mikey.

Mo then wrote the roles on the blackboard and asked, "Everybody happy with that?"

"Yeah!" all the housemates chorused.

Wow! All in agreement? It may be a first.
