I think the first human emotion I've seen from Lisa thus far was when she cried over her engagement. I found Mario bringing the exfoliating gloves for Lisa more of a loving, considerate gesture than the whole proposal thing.

Sara needs to learn how to say 'enough already' and mean it! Mo farting during Darnell's rant was very apt but generally, he really needs to learn some decorum!

Kat is a nice person but her wailing still does my head in.

Rex and Darnell (my one time fave hms) have become boring Gob-shites - one a control freak... the other an out-of-control-freak. It's all very well being a rogue game-player on BB but a winner should have some redeeming traits as wel.IMO

I don't see any redeeming traits in either Rex or Darnell now. On the other hand, Mikey (whom I couldn't abide in the early part of the show) has become my fave male HM. Mikey HAS been spiteful when roused but not just for the sake of being spiteful like Rex and Darnell are AND he's remained loyal to his friends.

Thank heavens for Mikey, if it wasn't for him, I'd find a group of sheepish HM's who put up with anything Rex throws at them, unberable to watch.

Kudos to Mikey, the only HM who openly challenges Rex WITHOUT sugar-coating it a la Darnell - and Rachel, whois been stable and dignified in all her dealings with Rex. ()^

I haven't watched this yet, but did they show Mo not being happy with his plain pizza?

The R.T.E. (Irish Television) Big Brother Blog is a bit hit and miss - it's clear that the people who write it don't do much research into what the fans are thinking, etc.

But this is what they had to say about last night's show - and I think it proves my point that 'ordinary viewers' will probably have enjoyed it:

Awwwww! Mario managed to put aside his health and safety concerns for a few minutes to propose to girlfriend Lisa from behind a window! The bended knee bit would've been better when she left the house, but at least last night's highlights show had plenty to make you smile. In fact, it was one of the more entertaining programmes of the past month.

Why? Because people were happy - boffins at Channel 4, please take note. Even Rex returned to his more likeable grumpy self and hearing him say things like "The wuhst, evah" didn't grate like when Nicole was around.

If it wasn't for the bit about Rex and Darnell once being your all time fave hms - although for a while I thought Darnell was an okay guy - I could have written every word of that myself.
