Lisa Is Evicted
Day 86 - Fri 29 Aug 2008,

The housemate has been evicted, with 52.6 per cent of the vote...

She entered the House with her perma-tanned partner Mario, then was promptly torn apart from him and forced to watch as he romanced Stephanie for the Wedding Task.

But like a true pro, Lisa took it in her stride, supporting Mario and urging him to keep up the pretence, and she ended up outlasting both of the 'couple'.

After Mario left, Lisa really came into her own, wearing colourful and outrageous outfits, carefully applying more and more make-up, and all the while turning into the House Mum, as different housemates came to her with their problems.

She stood up to Rex when he had a go at her for wrongly identifying his girlfriend in the identity parade, but things soon returned to normal.

Whether bodybuilding in the Garden, making dinner, or throwing herself into Tasks, Lisa gave her all to life in the House.

She exuded calmness and serenity, while waiting patiently to be rejoined with her exuberant partner.

So long Lisa - the universe is calling you! Hope you have a great time.

BB LISA TRUTH ABOUT MY SEX SWAP!

Blimey! - I knew it was going to be close between Lisa & Sara because they're both considered relatively likeable, in BB terms! - but I gasped when I heard the result last night.
It was the biggest shock since plank of wood Paul beat tedious Bubble in BB2.
Mind you, there have only been two shock evictions in 9 years!

Sara has had a bad week & deserved sympathy for Darnell & Rex's cowardly attacks on her.
It will be interesting to see how Darnell has been around Sara since she survived eviction - he sat beside her last night when Davina called Lisa's name out - but that could be because he feared Sara would go & wanted the public to like him.
Rex seems perky as well having got to the final - maybe he wants the public to like him?

As for Lisa, she was great, but I'm not sure she ever got the young female voters to relate to her. Although Lisa could have great fun, she could be serious as well & had a poker face.
And Davina asked Lisa why she never said anything on Thursday(Friday's edit)in the house when Rex was aggressively questioning Sara again regarding Darnell.
I said Lisa wasn't the 'complete' housemate because she didn't slaughter Darnell & Rex for their very nervous, cowardly digs at Sara this week. Lisa was too pragmatic. I think that was her downfall - she should have let fly.

Lisa was either baffled or nervous regarding Davina's line of questioning, maybe didn't exactly know what Darnell & Rex had said to Sarah in this last week - but she will be told - & I'd love to know what she truly thinks about it.



I'm disappointed Lisa has gone because she was very entertaining throughout - despite Mario! - & would loved to have seen Lisa in the final because it's going to be very open.

Anyway, Lisa & Mario will get the fame they wanted: local celebrities in the North-West, maybe even a radio show up there, a tidy sum for selling their wedding to a well-known celebrity magazine, plus other magazine interest - & sporadic appearances on TV shows other than 'the Ant 'n' Dec'!

However, it will be interesting to see how the BB9 finalists, Kathreya, Darnell, Rachel & Rex react in the final week as they try to endear themselves to the public.

Davina was right to ask Lisa why she sat on the fence when her friend was under atttack, but why has she never asked other evicted housemates about their horrible behavoiur in the house.?

True Madeline - that was my main concern about Lisa.

But Lisa did nominate Jennifer & Sylvia - & they got evicted.

We could go around the houses regarding Davina's approach in this series or any other.
Remember Davina McCall told Parky he should have Jade Goody as a guest on his show when she & Jade had the same agent.
However, Jade called Shilpa Shetty the p-word on celebrity big brother. Brushed under the carpet.
So I don't think Davina McCall deserves credit for anything.

Davina has to promote BB Z-list celebrity for The Daily Star group & Heat Magazine, even though the viewing figures for BB9 fell massively again under her stewardship - hence Davina fawning all over Dale & Stuart who were both boring vain dullards.

That is true, this series has shown more than ever how woefully out of touch Davina is with what the average BB viewer wants (i.e. the opposite to her).

Finchy - I am laughing all over the place, although it's a bit weird. I can't read your posts now without having Heath Ledger's Joker voice reading it in my head!

It's all just part of the plan!

NOTE TO EVERYBODY

Steer clear of Finchy's pencil.

The trouble is, with Lisa out, that could now lead the way for one of the nasties to come higher, because Lisa did actually have a lot of people supporting her and I think a vote to save would give a whole different result to a vote to evict.
