I think Rex is quite a damaged person, and he was very insecure around Nicole. This may have explained his need for reassurance that she loved him, and might even explain why he tried so hard to control her. She gave him very little affection back, and I agree that she often recoiled. He may well have tried to buy the affection of strippers on holiday, but I actually think he tries to buy Nicole's affection too, and that can never lead to a happy relationship for him.

I don't think he's as lucky as all that, Madeleine. When he gets out the relationship with Nicole may not last long, and now that he's a bit more famous as well as rich, he may never know if he's getting genuine affection from future girlfriends.

She is not the only one using him either, Mo, Darnell and Sara are taking **** off him because of the promises he is making them about how he will be inviting them to his parties and introducing them to all his celeb friends, and Darnell thinks he is going to make him the next Quincy Jones. :oops:

a) Rex is far from ugly
b) if people only hang round him because he's rich or because of what they think they can get out of him, then they're the arseholes, not Rex

I agree about Rex being far from ugly. I think he's really attractive. I also thought he was sexy until I saw him with Nicole, lol.
