I think BB ONLY warned Rex because the PC brigade were bombarding OffCom. It's become like a family in there now after all this time, or a student house share, and people are just bickering and winding others up. The bullies were people like Jen, Dennis, Alex and Sylvia, who shouted at people, called them vile names with no provocation, and worked tirelessly to intimidate their sad little followers into victimising and ostracising the people THEY didn't like.

Rex treated Rachel in the same way as Mikey treats him. He was trying to voice what many posters on forums feel - that Rachel is being fake and trying to slip into the final by being a wallpaper housemate and staying away from controversy. He was trying to get a reaction from her, and has been nice to her on many occasions. It's not like he picks on her or Sara constantly. In my experience of bullies, they are never off your back.

Thank god for the PC brigade then because you are implying that if the PC brigade had not taken action BB would have allowed one of the most aggressive sexual harrassments of a female to continue.?
He was not only warned about that situation but he had to be warned again about his mouth running out of controle.
If there is anyone in that house being fake it is your man rex. He could give Rachel acting lessons.

Yet again we'll have to agree to disagree, Madeline. I didn't see it as you did. {@}

I don't think that Rex is being fake at all. He is just being himself.

That's true, I believe. Have to give him credit for being himself.

I saw a thread, on another forum, suggesting people post one positive thing about their least favourite housemate. Having Rachel tendencies myself, I thought it was a nice idea. We get so impassioned, trying to convince others that 'our' housemate is good, and the others are bad (which of course, they often are!), it can be tempting to totally write-off the poor housemates.

All of them have some good points - although when Mikey was struggling to say something positive about Mo, I could understand his predicament. I'd have chosen 'resilient', I think.

Anyway, you know, for all my opinions about Rex, I have a wee bit of sympathy for him, because while he might think he's having a great life, it's clear that he's not really content.

I think Rex is hilarious. ''Kat you're bullying my ears'' ::lol::

He's not perfect and he does go on and on if he gets a bee in his bonnet (cone ::lol:: ) but on the whole I think he's been pretty funny and entertaining.

Oh and shut up Darnell :D

Rex stopped being funny to me when he started to deliberately provoke HMS for no reason other than his own amusement - that's just nasty! A sad reflection of his personality, if the only way he can draw attention to himself is by his character assassination of other HMS.

His one-liners are lame, few and far between, too.IMO

Rex is a little Napoleon.
He dishes it out but is too scared to take it.
And if he continues to rub the last follicles on the front of his head any more, he will lose them quickly.

Sara may well have a million faults, but she was bullied.
Darnell moans & whinges about Mikey being patronised throughout BB9 - but minuscule Rex only stepped in & joined Darnell's hatred of Sara last week because he thought Darnell was a weak man 'played' by a woman - ie someone who deserved to be patronised.
Good grief!

Darnell is quite intelligent, but too dumb to see that.

It's a travesty that Lisa is not in the final by the way.

That's hilarious! And what makes it even funnier is that nobody in there is intelligent enough to take him on.

Mikey's a bit weird but he destroyed Rex.
Rex was straight in the diary room begging the public to not see him as a 'bully' - the worst thing housemates fear after Jade Goody's pathetic attempt at trying to bully the far superior & smarter Shilpa Shetty on CBB5.

Rex has had his chance, & he might get a few ironic votes like pathetic Jason from BB5, but he's insecure because of something, or a few things. ;)

Hope Mohamed goes tomorrow because he's basically a silly boy - & hope Kathreya follows him because I finally got sick of her act last night when she put on an exaggerated Thai accent in the diary complaining ignorance of words like 'devious' - yet she knows so many others.
However, I don't think she deserves to be crucified - it was Endemol who 'chose' her.

Agree Geena.
If only Rex didn't get so nervous when people take the piss out of him - then he might get some respect.

Rex is not a bully, he's a joker and all the HMs who have been - according to you - "bullied" by him have recognised that fact. Why else did Rachel not nominate him until last week?

I'd put him more as a joker than a bully.I dont think he intends to bully at all.
And as Bunny says, how come his 'victims' dont nominate him on those grounds?

Rexs acid comments are the highlight of the show imo. They cause discussion and controversy hence they get air time. The GBP would soon be bored of watching him chop onions and carrots

I think the word Bully can be over used. I thought Sarah was crying over Darnell's words not Rex's. I love the banter with Rex and the others and whie he can sometimes be a little over the top he is at least entertaining and not afraid to speak his mind more than others. In the words of Vagabond. ''bite me you Rex haters'' :)
