I will now endeavour to put negative and positive things about each of the housemates to help us decide. If I have missed anything, then please add it below. Similary, if you disagree with anything.

Kat - Kat acts up to the cameras and is obviously a gameplayer with her little gimmicks. I find her a bit childish and am very fed up with her 'Happy happy how' and as she can't sing, I wish she wouldn't!! Like Rachel, she has done drama and acting and has been on TV, so it is easy for her to put on an act. She is an attention seeker and sometimes acts like a spoilt child.

On the plus side, I think she genuinely is a very kind, caring person and I think I would have liked her if she had just been herself, instead of acting up as she does. She is obviously very intelligent and thought up her gameplan completely before going into the house. She has been entertaining to a certain extent, but most of that has been pre-meditated or forced. She is loyal to her friends and expects loyalty in return.

Rachel- Rachel is a very nice, kind and caring person and her gameplan was to try to avoid any confrontation and to just be nice to everybody and sail through to the Final without actually doing very much.

As it happened, she got more exposure than she had bargained for, when BB threw a spanner in the works and showed the boys her VT, which resulted in Rex having a go at her. Also, by ending up as HOH (which wouldn't have been her choice) she was given even more exposure which was in her favour with the viewers. If it had not have been for those 2 things and Rex continuing to have a go at her, I don't think we would have seen very much of her at all, and indeed in the first few weeks we didn't. So, in my mind, she hasn't done enough to win and hasn't been entertaining enough. Just to be a nice person is not enough in my opinion, because at the end of the day, we want to be entertained and a house full of Rachels would have been very boring.

I also find her very childish and find it very strange that she seems not very intelligent at times, when she is supposed to be a trainee teacher. She has studied BB and knows what is required for a good housemate. Some things just don't seem that natural to me with Rachel. She sometimes seems overenthusiastic about things, as though it is a bit put on.

Rex - Love him or hate him, you cannot deny that he has been very entertaining in one way or another and he has featured strongly in the Highlights Shows and been at the forefront of most of the entertainment. When he was HOH, he thought up lots of games to entertain the others, he was featured a lot when Nicole was in there, he has been featured being nasty to Sara and Rachel, he was cheeky with the shopping budget and he even unwittingly started spitgate! He also comes out with some funny one liners! He likes to have fun. He has been himself throughout.

At the end of the day, he is a wind up merchant and some people will like his sense of humour and some won't. Initially people were fed up with him, when all he talked about were his restaurants and missing his girlfriend. He is a control freak and does seem to get his kicks by running other people down. However, against my better judgement, I have found him funny and entertaining many times.

He is very materialistic and doesn't need the prize money. He will probably earn loads from it anyway, with photo shoots both on his own and with Nicole, probably a paid holiday for them both from OK Magazine etc. He is arrogant and can be nasty.

Darnell - A gameplayer who initially had the game summed up well, but has seemed to go to pieces more recently. He seems to be aiming for the sympathy vote, but in my mind, if anyone deserves the sympathy vote, it is Mikey who never makes a fuss or tries to get any sympathy for his disability. With Darnell, it is all about me, me, me. He takes advantage of girls when they are drunk and does have an aggressive side to him. He is very paranoid. He talks over people and can be nasty. He will upset someone, they cry, then he gets cross because it will look bad on him to the public.

He is very talented musically and may get some sort of musical contract.

Mohammed - By his own admission, he is greedy, he was envious of Sara and Lisa for getting 25k each, rather than being happy for them, repulsively ate a bogey and farts all the while and is lazy. I haven't really found him to be very entertaining.

I think he is being himself though. Struggling to think of anything positive to say about him, I'm afraid.

Sara - A complex character, fun, flirty and loud, sends out the wrong signals and then wonders why Darnell comes on to her. She hasn't been there as long as the others and so hasn't had to endure as much as them. Has been very entertaining but doesn't do a lot of work around the house.

She will probably earn lots from photo shoots and has already won £25000. Not sure if her flirting was gameplaying to escape nominations or not, but I don't think so. I think it is just the way she is. I think she is being completely herself.

Mikey - Does not keep harping on about the fact that he is different like Darnell does, and in fact you sometimes forget that he is blind. He has had it harder than the others, as he cannot see and is incredibly brave to go on the show and also to stand up to Rex as he does. He does not wallow in self pity and tries really hard in the tasks. He has been funny and entertaining at times. He has definitely been himself and had no gameplan. He is a good sport, 100% genuine, says it as it is, fights his corner and funny.

He does have a pervy side to him though which I don't like too much.

I think it would be good if Mikey won, because the others think that Kat or Darnell are going to win and it would really surprise them, especially Rex.

This is a genuine question - which I should have asked before, I guess - not an attempt to be smart-assed or argumentative.

I've noticed people attaching the adjective 'pervy' to Mikey before. I'm not entirely happy with that label, but maybe I've missed some details.

As I see it, Mikey, unfortunately, made some very tasteless jokes. Although I've no doubt that those jokes, if told by someone who had a better comedic delivery, would be found hilarious by some people, in a different setting. They were not suitable for 'mixed company' - in the broadest sense of the term.

Mikey likes to dress up in womens' attire, I think - correct me if I've got that wrong! - and he's a bit of an exhibitionist. He might have kinks here and there, but I'm not seeing the 'pervy' thing at all. Perhaps it's just me. True, his sexuality - or perhaps more correctly, his way of expressing his sexual kink - may be slightly out of the ordinary, but for me, the term 'perve' has connotations of being sleazy. And I don't find Mikey sleazy at all. In fact, in some ways, he has been a true gentleman.

Although he could with some 'refinement', when it comes to nose-picking, etc.

Otherwise, I'd be in agreement with the above summary. ()^ Good work!

Christine:

Agree about Darnell - he had potential, has made a lot of good & astute comments about individuals & group dynamics - but he lost the plot with Sara last week.
And his continual self-pity, though understandable, has become boring.
Though I thought he told Kathreya exactly how she is last night regarding her desire for sympathy & attention & her inabilty to take a joke.

Kat has exposed herself as a fake - but she doesn't deserve to be crucified.

Rachel has been too strategic - & for that reason has not not shown her true self. I mean, surely she's not a doormat in the real world?

Agree about Mikey - a bit weird - but he did go all out & take on Rex.
Rex made a plea to the public because of this in the diary room.
And Mikey is a rarety in the sense that he said he couldn't care less about being the final - & I believed him.

As for Rex - I've given him a lot of credit for comments he's made & you can't take away the fact that he's a very good cook.
But by his own admission, he is nasty & an arsehole in the real world - & he embarrassed himself getting involved with Darnell's lack of self-esteem regarding Sara last week.

Mohamed's a harmless but silly boy.
Maysoon was the far more interesting secular muslim.

Sara's fame-obsessed, probably less goofy than she appears, but so what?
