Pros: His last two weeks have been his best & he did have the balls to take on a very worried Rex.
Mikey called Rex a 'bully' - surely something you would say only if you knew you weren't one.
I think 'PC' is involved regarding Mikey being the favourite, but Mikey can be quite witty.
Cons: Like or dislike Jennifer as much as you want to, but she did complain & nominate Mikey for his sexist comments earlier in the programme. I think Mikey was protected by Endemol in that sense. I mean, were any of these comments actually broadcast in the edit?
However, the fact that Jennifer said she didn't approve of female BB housemates doing low-rent photo-shoots for lads' mags like 'Nuts' magazine has been somewhat contradicted.
I remember the days when some of the
13 fans of the creepy Sibley failure were incandescent that Kate Lawler had done a photo-shoot for Loaded a year after Big Brother BB3.
In the last few years most evicted female housemates considered 'good looking' or 'sexy' have sold to The Daily Star Sunday & appeared in the underwear they've got given - & appeared in Nuts magazine the week after - much to George Lamb's mirth.
And you have to say that Mikey was a miserable curmudgeon early on. Did he expect to come on BB9 hoping for a good night's sleep?
RachelPros: Rachel was strategic from the start & decided to be 'nice' to everyone - even when she was being attacked by other housemates, Rex, for example. And y'know, there is nothing wrong with being nice & measured on BB. At least it's a good human trait. Also, I never thought Rachel was boring for this. I thought she had genuine empathy for people like Kathreya.
Cons: Mario is fame obsessed, or that should be obsessed with Z-list fame, but it is worrying that Rachel told him she had 'studied' Big Brother. Rachel is not as dim as she would like the public to think she is. She has acted when younger, wanted to be the beauty queen of Wales but was beaten by BB7's Imogen who happens to be a close friend. I'd love to know the process regarding how Rachel got on BB9 - ie was she just an 'ordinary' member of the public who simply auditioned. There are so many BB housemates who Endemol knew before or who were referred to them for this year's show. Rex being one of them
Rebecca was a boring idiot after her first two weeks & I couldn't care less what she thinks but, annoyingly, she did say she was part of Rachel's 'audition' group for BB9 where apparently Rachel was the leader & life'n'soul??
SaraPros: Sara's always been polite to everybody, has some charisma & she dealt very well with appalling misogyny dealt out by the insecure Darnell & Rex. She is very smart & knows exactly what she's saying in the diary room regarding how she wants the public to view her, and she can be entertaining in the house.
Cons: Worked for MTV & knows exactly how the media works. Sara might be a bit dizzy as a person but she is obviously very savvy regarding the media.
Predictably flirted again with Darnell after Lisa was evicted against her even though he said some horrible things to her last week. Silly.
But maybe Sara still thinks Darnell is popular??
