Welsh girl Rachel has won Big Brother... and is £100,000 richer.

The unexpected winner left the house to fireworks and streamers. But there were also a few boos from the crowd, many of whom had expected blind Mikey to come first.

And it was a close call - Rachel polled just 51.3 per cent of the public vote to beat the bookies favourite.

I am really glad that Rachel won. OK she was a bit dull to begin with but she really came out of herself by the end. She was genuine, fun and enthusiastic and didn't let Rex get to her either.

Sometimes it is nice to know that a person can come through because of simply being positive and fun, not through backstabbing or bitching.

I'm happy

I'm happy for Rachel, but I think Mikey deserved to win, without a doubt, purely because Rachel didn't do anything outstanding to win the show. But I didn't like the crowd booing, that was awful! I'm just glad Rex didn't win, that'd have been unbearable!
