I didn't see that bit, TQ, but it's repeated on E4 tomorrow night, at 23.05, I think - though it might be best to give it a miss.

She's a poster on another, quite large, forum. She lives down the road from the Elstree studios, and consequently has been in the BBBM and BBLB audiences many times over the years. She has met a lot of the Housemates.

When she disappeared for a few weeks prior to BB, there was some speculation that she might be in this year's show. But while she may have been doing some chaperoning or something, she didn't actually apply for BB this year, though she has previously.

She wouldn't be nearly as famous as you, Hippo. :x

I might watch it, but when the final is over, then I forget about it all!

I watched a fair chunk of BBBM for the first time this series (better late than never? Hmm, dunno bout that ;) )
Davina's money question was stupid, glad Rachel didn't answer since it was a damned if you do, damned if you don't moment whatever she would have said.
Dale and Jen split, haha, you gotta laugh really. I don't doubt there was a physical attraction, but I said weeks ago about how the utter lack of chemistry between them meant it wouldn't work, and they haven't even managed to make it last long enough to milk the cash cow a little more! Jen looked a right state, had she been bathing in tango? Not quite sure if Dale was blaming the media for it...it was their choice to conduct their 'relationship' through it, hmmm. Still, makes Davina look like an idiot for declaring it true love etc. so that's a bonus. Dale came across as the bitter foul mouthed twonk that he was most of the time in the house anyway. Why people cheered this clown I don't know.
Luke and Rebecca made a lot of references to the Daily Star. They are their main (only?) source of income I suppose. What a truly terrible 'newspaper' that is ::lol:: Luke admitting he didn't enjoy posing for them etc. was amusing though. Weren't he, Rebecca, Dale and Jen (and Stuart) always the ones going on about other HMs doing things in the house to get paper/magazine deals? And who are the ones living their lives through them? Indeed, very hypocritical.
Stuart looked like he was enjoying being reunited with the whisper club, lots of taps on shoulders and whspers in ears. That being said, I think the HMs behaved better than recent ones (especially last year's lot) on the show, wasn't really anyone demanding to be centre of attention and shouting over whatever anyone else said.

Davina' final thoughts

Admits that she expected Mikey to win and was shocked that Rachel did :D That's what happens when you're out of touch with what the viewers think, love. Talking of which, she names Luke and Rebecca as her favourite HMs ever. A guy who had nothing to do or say when he wasn't bitching mindlessly about others and a gormless fat bird who got her boobs out a lot is the pinnacle of BB for her? Thank God that she doesn't get to pick who goes in the house then

I'm watching the (stress-free) repeat now, and it was patently obvious that Davina 'loved' Luke and Bex more than the others, from the way she greeted them as they walked out on the set. I don't mind Davina having an opinion, but really, in a live final show like that, I think it's very unprofessional to show such blatant bias. She seemed very fond of Dale too.

Talking of unprofessionalism, the more I think about it, the more I believe that she'd prepared the 'winner' interview for Mikey and Rachel's was merely a 'get this over with quickly so we can move on to the winner' interview. Pretty much all the online polls had Rachel as favourite to win, so although it was still a surprise, it wasn't so much of a shock that she shouldn't have prepared a little more for a Rachel win beforehand. Another display of ineptitude from Ms McCall.

Just in case there are any nerds like me around (as if!), this was the track used at the end of last night's show, ergo the song supposedly summing up the series:

Elbow, One Day Like This

Well have finally caught up this morning.

Really glad Rachel won and genuinely pleased for her. Loved Rex's interview. Mikey was great, Darnell - a skirt - why!! Sarah kooky as ever. Thought Luke was a complete @rse and never want to see his face again, ever.

Way to go Rachel

I was not watching the end of the show, what did davina say to rachel about her winnings?

she basically asked Rachel if she was prepared to split her winnings four ways with the other hm's. Rachel looked stunnned and uncomfortable. In the end she said she'd give 10k to charity. She was totally under pressure and it was very very wrong imo

Rachel should have replied, when you split your salary with us i wil split mine with them.
After nine years presenting the show Davina should be well aware how the viewers vote. Even poor little me knew Rachel or Miky was going to win; and so did she so it means she was deliberate in her attempt to rubbish Rachel. :-?
