Yeah, she did well on the brekkie show this week. Certainly seems a lot more relaxed then other times, she's done the early shift on her own.
Glad Lucy is back, was wondering if she'd go with Shaw to Virgin/Absolute, yet I guess producing breakfast and drivetime is a good a job as a producer can have. Her and Kate bounce of each other well.
Personally think the reverse-charge-game has run it's course, all her friends know that it's a joke now.

As I said last week, it is pretty cool that Kerrang! Radio have given Kate the breakfast show twice when Simon James & Hill have been on holiday - the only occasion that Kate didn't cover the breakfast show was last August when Kate was on holiday herself.
I think the boss Gordon Davidson thinks very highly of Kate as a person & a presenter.
Disagree about Kate being more relaxed this week - I actually thought her last stint as lone cover for Kerrang! Radio's breakfast show was equally as good - but that's subjective.
Something tells me Kate has things on her mind regarding her future - maybe some positive options to consider?
Still, Kate has only ever indicated that she is happy at Kerrang! Radio, & radio break or not next year to concentrate on something regarding her House DJ career, maybe she still thinks her future is at Kerrang! Radio - we'll have to wait & see.
Personally, I think Kate could reach the very top regarding her club DJ-ing - as many people on the scene have said.
Kate should work hard at Kerrang! Radio but treat it as a mainstream bonus.
What's been great about Kate's tenure at Kerrang! Radio over the last year though is Kate got her mainsteam radio career back on track - ie Kate can't feel validated about being a promoted 'Big Brother' Winner - without a broadcasting job.
This approach means Kate has lost out financially - see the dreadful Danielle Lloyd from CBB5, Nikki Grahamme from BB7 & other female BB 'celebrities' who scrap to get glamour work & exposure within the sometimes lucrative 'z-list' market.
Kate wanted something quite different.
Kate wanted to be a peer on radio, as well as a peer on the House DJ scene.
Plus the fact that Kate has intimated that she is seeing someone now - & it sounds quite serious.
Agree about 'reverse charge' - it became cringeworthy & past its sell-by date a long time ago.
For instance, Kate rang her ex-boyfriend & companion over the years, Charlie, for 'reverse charge' before she went on holiday to Italy for her friend's wedding in August - it was obviously a set-up.
But you don't know how much influence Tim Shaw has with Kate?
I was out last night so missed Tim Shaw's first show on Absolute Radio - did anybody listen?
Tim Shaw is presenting 'Absolution with Tim Shaw' 10pm-1am on friday & saturday nights on Absolute Radio in London.
It is interesting that 'Producer' Lucy is still with Kate. Lucy is pretty good & intelligent herself on the radio. She's obviously very close to Tim Shaw but maybe feels that her career on radio is as a producer at Kerrang! at this time.
