Good work, TD ()^

Co-incidentally, I got a long message on another forum from 'Belinda, Belinda Belinda' this weekend. I'd sent her a brief (by my standards) 'well done you' message a while back, when I saw she was on the site. I was very impressed with the reply she sent - all chatty and warm - she apologised for 'writing an essay'. This, to a long-winded wind bag like me! ::lol::

HAVE A GREAT TIME ON HOLIDAY, RTVF. :x

Today I spent ages trying to decipher all the abbreviations in an important email I received the other day

Today I got a free tank of petrol :) and so did one of my colleagues.

Basically the boss who drives a diesel people carrier just made it to the filling station and then didn't look close enough at the pumps so what he thought was super diesel was super unleaded. Luckily for us the only diesel left in the system was used in the 20 or so seconds after he tried to drive away.
So this morning we pumped 40 and a bit litres into my car and another 30+ into my colleagues car. Then £20 of diesel was added to the bosses car and it started and ran .
All I can say that all three of us were very lucky !
I think the bosses car is booked in to be checked out ,but I didn't expect it to run that easily without some damage.

Today I got a bit stressed out at the fact my Internet has been broken since Friday and have just come to uni to look something up and have loads of emails that are really important!!!

Don't realise until it is broken how much you depend on it, like I have emails from Friday that had to be replied to then really! Oh well.

Hopefully it will be fixed soon but we currently have no idea what is the matter and ISP and BT keep blaming eachother which is really helping - not.

Today (well, just now!) I am at my local library sorting out some emails and uni stuff as the Internet at home still isn't working. Think we're changing companies and it could take a couple of weeks, I got a bit confused at what my dad was saying  ::lol::

Good thing about these computers is unlike at uni you can't get on bebo and facebook so limited distractions.... other than bbfans of course ;)

Today I've been re-enforcing the joints on K9 but discovered that it's a little unstable which I think is the head nodding as it drives forward over less then smooth pavement.

Also have spent the weekend recording the skating from Skate America. Last night / this morning I was awake till about 0200 GMT and again around 0600 to stop the recorder. It's started earlier tonight so hopefully I'll get a little more sleep, but it addictive once you start watching.

Today I had to take my phone to the shop to get it sent away to be fixed... possibly the most embarrassing thing that happened to me this week but hey! They have given me a temporary one which is a different make from the usual Nokia phones I always get, it is confusing me a lot!!!!

Today for some reason my Hard-drive video recorder failed to record the whole duration I'd set the timer for ? I have a suspicion that I should have cleared the Time-Shift-Buffer first as it'll only capture 6 hours at a time and I'd had it running in tuner mode for a long time before setting the timer.

The result if that I'm now in the process of downloading all the skating from the Cup Of China that I should have recorded off Eurosport.

Lets hope it works correctly tomorrow.

Today I decided that I need to get back to regular exercise after discovering I was half a stone heavier than I was in the summer. Saying that I'm normally around 10.5 stone while taking regular exercise and about 11 stone when I don't so it's not really a surprise but all the same I'd sooner be nearer the lower end.

Time to get back to a rink of some kind.
