Hmmm...he's an institution, and gave us so many wonderful evenings of entertainment when he hosted The Generation Game, back in the day - but I've found myself cringing slightly when I've seen him presenting SCD.

Mind you, the whole set up with Tess and the same four judges, all seems a little stale.

But then, I'm not a fan of the show - and it sure does pull in the viewers, so they must be doing something right.

STRICTLY'S BIG DANCE OFF

STRICTLY Come Dancing bosses have been thrown into turmoil over reports three of its stars may quit.

Host Bruce Forsyth, 80, and judges Arlene Phillips, 64, and Len Goodman, 61, could call it a day.

Bruce’s agent is reported to have said: “This could well be his last.”

Meanwhile, Rising Damp star Don Warrington, 56, right, was given the boot last night, as the panel saved singer Heather Small, 43.

Bruce Forsyth Takes Legal Action

Bruce Forsyth is taking legal action over reports that he is stepping down as the host of Strictly Come Dancing.

Reports had suggested the 80-year-old would be leaving at the end of the current BBC series.

But Forsyth's manager, Ian Wilson, insisted: "This story is not true and the matter is being put in the hands of our solicitors."

The veteran presenter has recently hit back at critics who have accused him of being too old, updating his old catchphrase to "I am not doddery... doddery I am not!"
