And yes, Russell Brand is worried that he his route to 'fame' will always be regarded via Kate Moss - as any decent alternative comedian will tell him.

You only have to check out Russell Brand's ego via the comments of Radio 2's Paul Gambochini. Paul said several Radio 2 producers have been sacked during the course of Brand's tenure on the station for daring to stand up to Brand & his z-list ego.

I have to admit that I didn't know he was connected to Kate Moss. I only knew of him through BBBM.

That column of India Knight's - I can't find a phrase in it with which I'd disagree.

Jonathan Ross might be down £1.4m; but I bet he's glad he didn't opt for one of those 'launch your own fragrance' deals - high street chains would be furiously emptying the shelves of 'Eau de Plonquer'.

Are the Daily Mail going to be sending a reporter to each of Russell Brand's shows, to check up on him?

I can't see what's so bad about saying 'Burlesque and erotica, I've been rethinking it of late'. In fact, I reckon if you went to one of Russell's shows (or Jonathan Ross's shows, for that matter), and there was no reference to the 'current palava', you'd feel a bit cheated.

It's not like he said anything that awful about Ms Bailie in the show.

(what he said to reporters elsewhere is a different matter - but maybe the Daily Mail didn't hear about that )

All, the same, got to hand it to the Mail online - they believe in covering both angles of this important story - I note they are also running the following story:
