Bruce Forsyth and Tess Daly host the celebrity ballroom dancing competition. The eight female stars and their professional dance partners battled it out with a salsa or foxtrot. Now the two couples with the lowest combined judges' score and viewer votes must perform again in the dance-off, and only one will be saved by the judges. Castle flops out of Strictly

GMTV presenter Andrew Castle has been voted off Strictly Come Dancing after judges said his samba fell flat.

The former tennis player became the seventh celebrity to leave the BBC show after losing out in the dance-off to singer Heather Small.

Head judge Len Goodman said his routine lacked "bounce" and he was more like a bouncy castle than Andrew Castle.

Heather Small tangos off Strictly

Former M People singer Heather Small has become the latest celebrity to be voted off Strictly Come Dancing.

She was up against Rachael Stevens in the dance-off, but the judges decided to save the former S Club 7 singer.

Judge Len Goodman told Small: "I did agree with the other judges, but that last tango was the best I've seen Heather dance. Well done."

There are now eight celebrities left in the BBC contest, with ex-rugby player Austin Healey the favourite to win.

The Strictly Come Dancing judges are fuming.

The chick who was booted was not who they wanted to leave.

Who survived and who said goodbye?

The big news is that John Sergeant has made it through another week, thanks to the public vote.

And the judges aren't happy.

John took on the cha cha cha, the result of which wasn't exactly dazzling.

Judge Bruno Tonioli said: "John, you're a charming personality, but even you have to admit your dancing stinks."

Arlene Phillips added: "You are outstanding at dancing really badly."

While Len Goodman said to John: "The viewers like you, but they make a mockery of the show by keeping you in."

But that's exactly what happened, he wasn't even in the bottom two - there-by escaping the dance off.

Unfortunately it was Heather Small and dancer partner Brian Fortuna were voted out.

She was in the bottom two with Rachel Stevens and dance partner Vincent Simone.

Bad luck Heather.
