JLS's performance was a bit let-down, and I think that's why they didn't pull in so many votes.
I knew Rachel would be leaving, once she and JLS were in the bottom two, and I prayed that she'd not let herself down in the sing-off, as the last time she was in that position, she did sort of 'throw-away' 'One Love'. I believe Simon was spot on that time, when he said he'd realised that she gets embarrassed when she's in the sing-off, and can act inappropriately.
Thank God last night, Rachel acquitted herself in the sing-off. I was really pleased that her last performance was a memorable one of which she can be very proud.
And she was gracious in defeat. I don't think it's quite so suspicious though - I see her as a flawed human being (something she has in common with the other 99.9% of the human race!), who is now trying to do the right thing, and sometimes she does very well, and sometimes she doesn't quite get there. If one of my children irks me, sometimes I manage to stay calm and saintly (well, in my opinion, at least!

), but sometimes I let myself down and moan, or yell...
I will continue to pray for Rachel - and hope that however this 'fame' business pans out, she will continue to grow stronger. She's overcome tough demons in the past - I hope the future is bright, happy, and peaceful for her and her family.
I do hope Simon keeps an eye for her, at the very least.
